A bald man in orange saffron robes with a rudraksha mala stands with his back to the camera, raising a lit lamp or ritual vessel toward the altar. Five people sit on red mats at right and left, hands folded in prayer; those at right wear orange and white dhoti clothing. A framed portrait of a saffron-turbaned man sits above a gold altar with brass lamps lining the floor. Garlands hang across the altar and draped fabric frames the shrine.2014-06-02July 25 20172017-07-25 +1 copiesA photograph of an indoor satsang hall with a large lit oil lamp held aloft by a standing priest in orange robes, his back to the camera. Beside him a flat-screen TV shows a live feed of a saffron-robed figure seated on a golden throne with a red cushion under a golden canopy, with a seated attendant in white and a figure in red nearby. To the left stands an empty ornate golden throne with a red base. Behind is a painted mural of a multi-armed deity in red and green garments holding a trident and other implements, flanked by red-and-gold pillars. A tripod-mounted camera stands on the right, and a few heads of seated audience members are visible at the bottom edge.2014-07-28May 10 20122012-05-10A photograph of a shaven-headed man in an orange saffron dhoti and shawl, wearing a rudraksha mala, lifting a lit aarti oil lamp in both hands during a ritual in a hall. Behind him stands a gold-and-red throne (peetha) with a golden canopy and an empty seat draped in red, flanked by brass lamp stands, and a decorated deity murti garlanded with flowers and framed in gold. A red curtain and a stage platform form the backdrop. A partially visible bald head appears at the bottom edge. No clear identity cue confirms the lamp-bearer as a person, so the person is described by role only. The page's caption and copyright overlay are ignored as visual evidence.2015-11-18A bare-chested priest in orange-saffron dhoti and shawl, with white tilak marks on forehead and arms and a rudraksha mala, stands in a hall holding a tiered brass aarti lamp with lit flames in both hands. Dark maroon curtains and framed posters hang on the pale wall behind him, and a few seated people are blurred at the lower right. The scene suggests a lamp ritual performed during a puja, with the priest presenting the flame.2017-01-22July 28 20142014-07-28July 04 20172017-07-04
