Close-up photograph of a polished silver trident (trishul) standing upright against a blurred riverside backdrop of pale sand, dry trees and water. The trident has three curved prongs with a central spear point and an ornate silver shaft with a collar. In the lower corners, the blurred silhouettes of a few people are partly visible at the frame edge, but no one is in focus. The trident is a Shiva symbol used in Hindu ritual at the Ganga ghat in Haridwar.2014-03-10March 10 20142014-03-10Close-up photograph of a silver trident (trishul) with three curved tines and a decorative floral collar where the shaft joins the head, set against a blurred grey sky and dark green foliage.
