A large, ancient banyan tree photographed from below, its wide spreading limbs and dense green canopy filling the frame. Many aerial prop roots hang down and thicken into pillar-like trunks around the central trunk. Thin wires or cables run diagonally through the branches, and a small lamp post stands at the left edge. Bare red-brown earth and a low stone or concrete wall lie at the base, with greenery beyond.2014-08-14June 11 20142014-06-11A large, sprawling banyan tree dominates the frame, its many thick aerial roots descending from horizontal limbs into a central trunk cluster. Circular raised stone platforms with pale rims surround the base, and dry earth lies beneath. A few orange-clad figures are partially visible at the lower right near a dark stone slab, but no people are clearly identifiable in the main scene.2013-06-20June 11 20132013-06-11 +1 copiesJune 28 20132013-06-28A large, sprawling banyan tree dominates the frame, its thick grey trunks and many aerial prop roots forming a dense cluster beneath a canopy of green leaves and spreading branches. A white streetlamp on a pole stands at left, and a low circular white stone platform surrounds the base of the main trunk on reddish-brown earth. Smaller trees and rocks are visible around the grounds, with a red-walled building faintly in the background. A low circular white-edged bed of sandy soil surrounds the base, with a few small brass kalasha-style pots placed at the foot of the trunk. A thin rope is strung between branches, and a small purple cloth is tied high in the canopy at upper left. No people are visible; the scene is a sacred tree shrine setting.2016-08-12 +1 copiesJune 20 20132013-06-20June 08 20132013-06-08A large banyan tree dominates the frame, its broad spreading canopy supported by many hanging aerial roots that descend to a raised circular stone platform at the base of the trunk. Dense green leaves filter daylight across the scene. At the far left edge, a figure draped in a green cloth stands near a white pole and a small lamp fixture, and a red-clad figure is partly visible at the lower left. The ground is bare red earth with a low curbed border around the tree. The image is a photograph of an outdoor tree shrine setting with no visible satsang or ritual activity beyond the tended base.2013-06-28June 18 20132013-06-18
