A dimly lit hall with a dark ceiling where three men in white ritual garments stand holding lit torches or lamps. The man in the centre wears a beaded rudraksha-style necklace over bare shoulders and holds his palms together; the figure on the right holds a flame and wears a necklace as well. A row of small oil lamps burns on a low table in the foreground, and a wall-mounted fixture is visible behind. The scene suggests an evening aarti or puja being performed.

Photograph of three men in plain white dhotis standing in a dimly lit hall with a corrugated metal roof and exposed dark beams. Each raises an oil lamp overhead, with flames visible on the lamps. The man on the left wears a beaded necklace and the one in the centre wears a cord and beads; the man on the right is partly in shadow. A row of framed photographs hangs on the wall in the background, and a small flame glows at the lower right. The scene suggests a lamp-waving ritual such as aarti.

Dim indoor photograph of several shaved-headed men in white dhotis and shawls, seated in a row and holding small oil lamps aloft with flames. In the foreground a man in a white dhoti with a yellow-edged cloth and a dark rudraksha mala raises a lit lamp; silver bangles are visible on his wrist. Behind him other devotees hold lamps in offering gestures. No one visible is wearing saffron, crown or ornate ceremonial gold, so no a person candidate is evident. A night-time aarathi at a temple hall with a corrugated roof and plain white walls. Two men in white dhotis and white kurtas, with orange shawls over their shoulders, hold brass aarathi lamps with flames rising from them. A third lamp-bearer stands partly behind them, and on the left, several young people in white sit with palms pressed together in prayer. A striped cloth hangs on the wall at left, and a speaker is mounted near the ceiling. The scene shows people performing aarathi with burning oil lamps.

Three men in white kurtas with yellow shawls and rudraksha malas perform aarti at a counter-top altar in an indoor hall. Each holds a flaming oil lamp or lit wick in one hand and a brass bell in the other. The man on the left holds a multi-wick lamp, the centre man a lamp with a large flame, and the man on the right a lamp with a flame held at chest height. Brass lamps and dishes sit on the polished altar surface, and two seated devotees are visible at the bottom edge. The aarti appears to be part of an evening darshan. The centre man has long hair and shows no distinctive crown, saffron clothing or ceremonial gold necklace, so he is described only by role.
