July 04 20152015-07-04July 12 20152015-07-12A photograph of a stage event in a dimly lit hall, with a large audience seen from behind in the foreground, mostly in white clothes and silhouetted. On the raised stage, a standing figure wearing an orange-red turban, an orange-red garment and multiple gold-coloured necklaces holds a long staff. Behind them is an ornate golden throne-like chair decorated with gold filigree, flanked by potted green plants and brass lamp stands. The backdrop projects a red and orange design with a geometric star-and-triangle pattern. Purple fog drifts across the stage floor, and tall carved stone pillars frame the scene on both sides. A video camera on a tripod stands at the right edge.2015-07-12A photograph taken from the back of a darkened auditorium looking toward a lit stage. On a raised ornate golden throne-style chair, a figure in an orange-red turban and orange-saffron robe with a shawl stands holding a microphone on a stand. Rows of audience members in white clothing sit in silhouette in the foreground. Behind the stage are a dark backdrop with pictorial designs, a carved golden pillar, and several brass oil lamps lining the stage edge. A video camera on a tripod is at the right. The figure in the centre is a person by appearance cues, seated on a throne in an orange turban and saffron garment.2015-10-06A darkened hall with a large audience seen from behind, their silhouetted heads filling the foreground. On a lit stage at left, a robed figure in red and gold with a red turban sits on an ornate gold throne in front of a painted starry backdrop with a mountain peak and crescent moon. Beside the throne stands a figure holding a trident. A large screen at right shows a close-up of a figure in a red turban, layered red and gold ceremonial robes, red bead necklaces and a trident, before a mountain-and-stars backdrop. A cameraperson stands near the stage.2015-05-07A photograph of a satsang stage with a seated teacher on a large gilded throne with a canopy above. The seated figure wears an orange-red turban, an orange-red robe with a yellow sash, and multiple beaded necklaces; he is positioned at a microphone stand. Flanking the throne are potted green plants and brass lamps topped with birds, and a silver trident stands to the right. A dark blue and purple backdrop with a globe image fills the background. A video camera on a tripod is at right, and blurred audience members in orange and white clothes occupy the foreground. Several Swamiji (probable) cues are present: a turban, ornate orange-saffron clothing and beaded necklaces, seated on a throne in the role of teacher addressing the satsang audience.2015-07-05A purple-lit stage hall with ornate carved pillars and brass oil lamps, where a figure in saffron-orange clothing and a red head covering stands near a decorated throne-like seat with a crown-like ornament, holding a staff. Many seated devotees in white clothing fill the foreground, their backs to the camera, facing the stage amid haze.2015-07-12May 07 20152015-05-07A figure stands on a stage beside an ornate gilded throne-like seat, holding a silver trident in the right hand and resting the left hand on the hip. He wears an orange-red turban, a multi-strand rudraksha-style mala necklace and a patterned purple and gold waist cloth. Purple and magenta haze fills the stage, with brass oil lamps on both sides and a leafy potted plant near the seat. A backdrop shows a geometric triangle lattice in red and purple light. A cameraman with a video camera on a tripod films from the left, and a silhouetted audience fills the foreground.2015-07-12A wide night photograph of a large stage lit in violet and blue, with stage lights rigged overhead. A seated figure in orange-saffron robes sits on an ornate golden throne at centre, with a backdrop projection of a multi-armed deity form glowing behind. Dark silhouetted audience members fill the foreground, and several people in light clothing stand or sit at the sides of the stage.2017-12-27A satsang discourse on a stage with a red and purple backdrop showing a globe and cosmic imagery. A seated figure in an ornate golden throne with a canopy sits in the centre, wearing an orange-red turban and orange-saffron robes, with a trident placed beside the throne and potted green plants at its sides. Two tall golden pillars frame the stage, with brass bells hanging nearby. A camera on a tripod films the stage. In front, rows of seated devotees in white clothes with red-and-orange shawls sit on white cushions facing the stage, many with shaved heads. Interpreting the throne-seated figure as a person is not supported by appearance cues alone, so he is described by role as the speaker on the throne.2015-07-05July 01 20152015-07-01
