December 02 20132013-12-02December 02 20132013-12-02Outdoor photograph of a procession on a rocky seaside platform under a bright white sky. A central man with short hair and a red-orange saffron robe with gold border, wearing a long rudraksha mala and a gold pendant necklace, walks beneath a red, orange and yellow canopy umbrella with gold emblems. He holds a silver trident. Around him, a bald man in a rust-orange robe and a man in white kurta with a rudraksha mala carry silver staffs and trident-topped rods. Women in white saris and beaded rudraksha necklaces, one carrying a woven basket bag, follow on the right. A rocky cliff face rises behind them. a person appearance is a probable match for the central figure, based on the saffron robe, long rudraksha mala and gold necklace, and the page's a person reference.2013-12-02A procession walks along a rocky, wet shoreline toward a sea-facing temple on a cliff. A man in the centre holds a large ornate parasol with red, green, and gold panels and fringe, and a bare-chested man in saffron-orange dhoti and shawl walks beside him. Several people in white ritual clothing carry silver trishul staffs and wear rudraksha malas. Photographers and camera operators in white film from the sides, and a crowd of devotees follows along the beach under a bright sky.2013-12-02A procession of devotees walks outdoors past a thatched hut and palm trees. In the centre a man in a saffron-red robe with a long orange-gold shawl and a heavy beaded mala stands behind a tall silver trident. Beside him a bald man in red holds a silver trident aloft. On the left a woman in orange-red sari and beaded necklace walks under a red and yellow canopy, and a young man in orange holds a long pole. Several women in white and grey clothes hold silver staffs or stand nearby, and a woman in a white dress holds another silver staff at right. Ornate golden objects blur in the foreground.2013-12-02A large group procession on a rocky seaside temple site, with a sea temple perched on a cliff behind. At centre, a man in a red-maroon dhoti-style garment and a long rudraksha mala, wearing a gold pendant, stands under a large red, yellow and green ceremonial umbrella held aloft by an attendant. Silver trident staffs flank the group. Around him are devotees in white and red-orange robes, several women in white and red saris, and people with mala beads. The ocean and onlookers are visible in the background. There is no clear appearance-based evidence of a specific identity, so the central figure is described by role only.2013-12-02April 19 20082008-04-19Outdoor procession on a dirt path with palm trees behind. A central man in saffron/orange robes and a white and orange flower garland walks barefoot, carrying a trident-topped staff ahead of him. Around him, devotees in white clothes with saffron or yellow shawls walk, some holding long poles, and several large canopy umbrellas in yellow, red and green with fringed edges shade the group. A bald man in orange robes and a rudraksha mala walks beside him. One woman in a cream sari with a yellow shawl carries a pole at the right. The scene looks like a temple procession.2010-07-26Outdoor procession on a riverside platform. A central figure with long swept-back dark hair, saffron-orange robes, a rudraksha mala and ornate gold necklaces sits on a silver-framed throne with bare feet, smiling and holding a trident-topped staff; the appearance is consistent with Swamiji (probable), seated as the honoured guest. Around him, devotees in saffron and white stand and sit, some holding trident staffs and orange-yellow ceremonial banners and a red-and-multicoloured parasol. Several saffron-robed monastics wear beaded malas, and a woman in an orange sari kneels at right. Flower petals scatter on a patterned cloth below the throne, and a black speaker sits at the platform's edge.2013-02-13December 02 20132013-12-02April 26 20162016-04-26December 23 20092009-12-23
