A photograph of a ceremonial altar set up inside a hall with dark red velvet drapes. Behind the altar stands a gilded golden arch framing a standing deity murti in red and white garments. A sign reading KAILASA HOUSTON USA hangs beside it. In front, a large framed photograph of a man with a saffron-coloured turban and red-orange clothing, wearing a multi-strand flower garland and holding one hand raised in blessing, sits on a yellow cloth. A golden kalasha-shaped vessel stands at the centre of a magenta table cloth, flanked by silver and jewelled conical objects, folded silk garments with gold and jewelled ornaments, silver bowls of kumkum and turmeric, silver dishes, a brass lamp, and a bowl of apples, bananas and oranges. Colourful striped and elephant-patterned banners hang at the sides. No physical people are visible.

A decorated temple hall with maroon curtains and colourful Kailasa-style banners. At the centre, a golden arched shrine holds a standing gilded deity murti in red and white garments. In front, a seated portrait figure wears a red turban, red robes, and multiple garlands, with a raised right hand, seated on a yellow-draped throne. A wooden sign reads KAILASA HOUSTON USA. In the foreground, a pink and red cloth covers a table holding ornate silver ritual items, brass vessels, a silver vessel with a dome, fruit including apples, bananas and oranges, red kumkum powder, and jewellery and garments wrapped in plastic. No people are visible.

A photograph of a ceremonial altar set up for a festival offering in a plain room with a drop ceiling and track lights. At the centre sits a large printed portrait of a man with a red-and-pink turban, many-stranded flower and beaded garlands, and a yellow cloth draped over a seat; he is described as Swamiji (probable) given the turban, garlands and ornate dress. Above him stands a gilded deity murti in a golden arch, flanked by tall banners with elephant and floral patterns and maroon curtains. A sign reads KAILASA HOUSTON USA. In front lie silver and gold ritual vessels, a golden lion-shaped object, decorated silver kalashas, folded silk saris and jewellery in plastic wrapping, silver trays of turmeric, kumkum and powders, and fruit in silver bowls with apples, bananas and oranges. No people are visible.

A photograph of a ceremonial shrine arrangement with a seated figure in the centre, dressed in a red turban, purple and gold shawl and a heavy gold and beaded necklace, one hand raised in blessing. The figure appears to be a depiction rather than a live person, set on a golden-draped throne with a tall staff behind it. Brass oil lamps flank the throne, and a round maroon-covered table in front holds ornate gold kalasha pots, silver offering plates, small cups, flowers and jewellery. Red velvet curtains with colourful tassels frame the scene, and a standing statue in orange and gold stands above. The arrangement suggests a puja display at a KAILASA centre in Houston, USA.

A temple-style worship setup in a room with red velvet drapes and colourful tasselled hangings on both sides. A seated man in a brown-orange kurta and white dhoti, and a woman in a pink blouse with a blue sari, kneel on the floor before an altar at left; the man holds his hands together in prayer. A large framed photograph of a bearded man with a pink-orange turban, rudraksha and white beaded garlands, and a red-and-orange shawl, sits on a red-and-yellow draped throne, with a golden deity murti standing above. Before the throne are a brass kalasha-style vessel, a flower-decorated pot, brass puja vessels and a tray of rose petals. At right, a multi-tiered stand holds many small white bowls of fruit, vegetables, sweets and snacks as offering food. The scene reads as puja and naivedya offering.

Photograph of a temple shrine room set up for a Diwali puja. In the centre, a large life-size printed cutout of a smiling bearded man in an orange-red turban, saffron robe with a red and gold shawl, and layered gold and jewelled necklaces with a garland of red, white, yellow and green flowers sits on a magenta cushioned seat; this is a printed depiction, not a person. Brass oil lamps stand on either side, a shell (conch) and a brass bell rest on a silver tray, yellow and white chrysanthemums are in a vase, an open book lies on a wooden stand, and gold sandals are placed on an orange cloth. Two deity murtis draped in orange silk with flower garlands flank the scene. Steel bowls of savoury snacks and sweets are arranged on trays on the floor, and a plate of vegetable offerings sits on a red cloth. The cutout is a depiction of the person shown.
