October 03 20162016-10-03Outdoor ritual photograph under a bright sky with palm trees and flowering shrubs behind. A man in a rust-red and gold-bordered dhoti and shawl, wearing a long red and white flower garland, multiple rudraksha malas, gold armlets and bangles, holds a small bouquet of pink flowers and looks downward. Beside him, a second person in a matching reddish dhoti holds up a white cloth flag painted with red symbols and a crescent, topped with a bunch of yellow marigold garland and a wheat-like sheaf of leaves. Partially visible figures stand at the lower edge, and a sculpted reddish base appears at the bottom left. Swamiji candidate appearance is probable: long swept-back hair, multiple rudraksha malas and ceremonial gold ornaments, presented as the figure receiving the flag-hoisting ritual.2015-04-21 +1 copiesOctober 03 20162016-10-03 +1 copiesDecember 23 20162016-12-23A photograph of a man seated on an ornate gold palanquin during a procession, smiling.
