A group of about a dozen participants stands in a line on a paved courtyard beneath tall coconut palms, watching something ahead of them. Most wear orange lanyards with ID badges; several wear white kurtas, white shawls and white trousers, and others wear casual shirts, t-shirts and a blue floral scarf. Water bottles are held by some, and a black suitcase sits at the lower left. At the far left edge, a figure in orange drapery is partly visible. The setting suggests an ashram tour, with the group paying respects to temple deities.2016-03-14A photograph of a group of about twenty participants standing outdoors in front of coconut palms, many wearing white clothing and red-and-orange lanyards with identity badges. On the left edge, a dark stone or metal deity figure is partly visible with an orange cloth draped over it. Several people stand with hands folded in front of them, listening attentively. A man in a white t-shirt and a woman in a white outfit with a white shawl are prominent in the foreground, while a woman in a blue patterned dress and head covering stands beside an older man in a beige shirt. A metal stanchion and water bottles are visible.2016-03-14A photograph of a covered outdoor courtyard with a brick floor and palm trees behind, where a crowd of devotees stands with palms pressed together in namaskar. In the foreground, a woman with light blonde hair wears a white kurta and a beaded necklace. Beside her, a woman in a red blouse and deep orange saree stands with hands folded. Several women wear white and cream sarees or white kurtas, and a girl in a purple skirt kneels near the front. On the right, a drummer in a light shirt and dhoti plays a drum while other men in white and beige clothes stand with hands folded. The ritual appears to be a devotional gathering of devotees in prayer.2011-12-13May 02 20182018-05-02March 14 20162016-03-14A large group of people stands barefoot in a courtyard of paved tiles, many in white kurtas, pants and dhotis with orange-red lanyards, hands folded or clasped in front, eyes lowered in a standing prayer or meditation. A small coloured rangoli floral pattern is laid on the ground at lower left. Behind them are orange and pink buildings, a corrugated roof, green trees and a trident mounted on a wall at upper right. In the centre a woman in an orange-saffron sari with a long rudraksha mala stands with hands folded; her face is not described and no identity is asserted. Several people wear white, one in a patterned pink and white kurta, and a man at right wears white with arms crossed.2016-09-26December 02 20092009-12-02Photograph of a group of participants in white clothing on a dirt ground beneath large banyan tree roots, during a guided ashram tour.
