Rudraksha malas hang around their necks and some wear red bangles. Behind them are palm trees and a wooden shelter at right. A young woman at right in orange sari with a rudraksha mala smiles and holds her hands together. Several younger devotees stand with eyes closed in prayer. No identifiable a person figure is visible.2013-04-14January 11 20162016-01-11January 15 20162016-01-15A crowd of young children and teenagers in saffron-orange robes stands outdoors on a paved courtyard, many with shaved heads and white vertical forehead marks, some wearing rudraksha malas and red-bordered garments. Several look upward with raised hands in devotion, and one girl at the front holds a yellow booklet. No individual is clearly identifiable as the a person figure; all visible people appear to be devotees or students.2013-07-24A procession on a dirt road lined with palm trees, with a large fringed umbrella and two yellow-and-red banners held aloft. Many saffron-clad devotees walk in the crowd: shaven-headed young men in orange dhotis with bare chests and red-striped cloth, and girls and women in orange saris with red borders, rudraksha malas and vibhuti on their foreheads. A tall man in the center wears a saffron garment, rudraksha mala and ceremonial necklace, with raised arms, appearing to lead the group. Some children hold hands while walking. A thatched stall stands at the right edge.2013-03-10A photograph of a large procession on a dirt path in daylight, with an orange and red cloth backdrop and a tree behind. Many women and girls in orange, red and maroon saris walk in a group, several with white-painted faces and dark hair flowing loose, some holding long staffs and trident-like poles. A few men in white and light clothing walk among them, and a bald figure in white stands near the back. A metal railing runs along the right side. The white-faced, loose-haired costuming and staffs suggest a ritual or theatrical procession.2013-03-10A group of young women and girls in orange saffron saris with maroon and gold borders sit cross-legged on the floor during a ritual. Several wear rudraksha mala necklaces and white vibhuti marks on their foreheads. In the foreground, a young woman with a ponytail pours liquid from a small brass vessel, while others hold brass bells, brass lamps and small offering bowls on a low metal tray. A pink bag sits in the lower right. The setting appears to be a temple hall during puja or abhishekam. Only the visible women and girls are counted.2013-06-07
