Several other men in red and orange robes with saffron-gold borders, some with wrapped shoulder cloths and beaded malas, stand or stoop in a line. A teenage boy in plain orange robes stands center. Seated at the lower left is an older woman in white with a red shawl and glasses, and a woman in a dark outfit is partly visible at the bottom. Behind them is a board of small framed portrait photographs of many people.

Most wear orange and maroon dhoti-style garments with gold-bordered cloth, and several have white vertical tilak marks on their foreheads. Rudraksha malas hang around many necks. A man in white dhoti and shirt with a red-bead mala and a gold-bordered cloth stands in the front left, and a man in maroon and gold cloth with a rudraksha mala stands centre front, both with hands folded. Brass lamps and offering items are visible on a table at the lower edge, and a wall with framed pictures and a colourful display stands behind.

A photograph inside a small room with a green-tiled floor and cream walls covered in many gold-framed devotional prints and paintings of deities. In the centre, a woman in an orange sari with a white flower garland stands with her hands near her chest, facing the wall. Beside her, a figure with long dark hair wears a white kurta with an orange shawl and stands with his back to the camera. At left, a man in a pink shirt and white dhoti stands with palms pressed together beside a flaming oil lamp, and another person's hand holds a lamp near the edge of the frame. Brass lamps and small offerings sit on a low stand in the foreground.

A photograph inside a room with orange-painted walls and framed religious pictures, including a large framed deity image and a temple illustration. A young man in a maroon dhoti with gold borders and a rudraksha mala stands at right with palms pressed together in greeting, smiling. Beside him, an older bald man with white tilak on his forehead wears an orange robe and walks forward. Other saffron-robed people and devotees in white follow through a doorway decorated with marigold garlands. A brass bell or gong sits on a wooden stand near a patterned orange mat. Visible people number about six.

A photograph inside a bright tiled hall with barred windows, showing a group of about 20 people gathered around a large brass oil lamp (aarti lamp) with a flame, on a floor decorated with small colourful rangoli dots. A woman in a black top and patterned sari stands with her back to the camera at the lower left, and a man in white dhoti and shirt stands at the left edge. Several men wear saffron/orange robes; one has a long-haired appearance with orange shawl and beads, and another in saffron wears a large gold-coloured beaded necklace. A man at the right wears a gold brocade shawl over white clothes with hands joined in greeting, and several men wear white shirts and dhotis. The scene suggests a lamp-lighting welcome ceremony, with the saffron-clad figure in the centre-right appearing as a person candidate based on long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and rudraksha-style beads, though the appearance is not certain.
