May 27 20132013-05-27A photograph of a man in an orange-red saffron robe standing at a shrine, holding a silver aarti lamp with multiple flames in his right hand while steam or flame rises from a kalasha-style offering. He wears a heavy gold necklace of large beads over a rudraksha-style mala, a gold armband, and a bindi on his forehead, with long swept-back dark hair. Behind him, a crowd of devotees in red and white garments stands with palms pressed together. Flowers, a brass plate and a white-covered lingam-like object are in front, with a flame burning on the offering. This appears to be an abhishekam or puja aarti, and the man has distinctive long hair, saffron robe and ornate gold neck adornments consistent with the page's reference to Swamiji, so he is labelled a probable candidate.2013-05-27May 27 20132013-05-27December 05 20142014-12-05Night photograph of an outdoor ritual. Other onlookers in white and green shirts stand behind in a dim temple hall. The smiling man has long swept-back dark hair, white sacred ash markings and a red forehead dot. Whether the smiling man is a person cannot be confirmed from appearance alone, so the role is given as a devotee receiving a greeting.2013-04-18December 20 20112011-12-20May 27 20132013-05-27 +1 copies
