Three young men in ochre and maroon sannyasi-style cloth stand outdoors before a wire fence and blurred trees at dusk. Each has white and red tripundra markings on the forehead and white markings on the arms and shoulders. The man on the left wears an orange dhoti and a rudraksha mala, holding a small wooden peetha with a green-draped deity murti decorated with a garland and gold ornaments. The man on the right wears a maroon cloth and rust-coloured shawl and holds a second green-draped murti with a white and gold decorative frame. The man in the middle, in a shawl, holds a long bamboo pole upright. This is a procession-style scene with murtis carried by devotees.2013-04-03October 03 20142014-10-03September 21 20132013-09-21Night procession outdoors at a temple-like site. Four young men in saffron-orange dhoti-style wraps and matching orange turbans stand in front, with white ash stripes on their arms and chests and rudraksha malas around their necks. The man on the left grips a tall gold pole, the second holds a brass tray of mixed white, yellow and red flower garlands, and the third carries a white cloth bundle decorated with gold trim, green leaves and a gold garland. Behind them a woman in a maroon sari holds a microphone, and drummers in orange stand at the right playing drums. A small shrine with lamps is visible at the upper left under a white canopy.2017-09-07 +1 copiesAugust 09 20152015-08-09A procession at dusk on a stone staircase. A central figure in orange and gold-bordered robes wears a long gold-and-white flower garland, a gold pendant, gold bangles and a red bindi, with white sacred markings on the forehead and a broad smile. Behind him a young attendant in saffron robes holds a brass kalasha with green leaves on a tray. Several attendants in saffron robes with white forehead markings blow long brass horns, and a red and white flower garland hangs across the background. Swamiji (probable) cues: long swept-back hair, ornate gold necklace and saffron robes, presented as the central procession figure.2013-07-01A photograph of a ritual scene with several saffron-robed figures in an indoor hall. A bald man with a long rudraksha mala and orange shawl stands at centre, handing yellow flower petals to a young boy in orange robes with white forehead marking. Other boys in orange and red-bordered cloth hold marigold petals, and a woman in an orange sari stands at right, with a cameraman behind. The moment suggests a puja offering of flower petals. Red curtains and a white-covered table appear in the background.2013-05-20 +1 copiesDecember 12 20162016-12-12 +1 copiesPhotograph of a young boy with a shaved head, white vertical tilak on his forehead and a small red dot, dressed in orange cloth with maroon-edged borders and a maroon velvet waist sash.
