A bride in an orange and red sari sits on the floor at left, beside a banana-leaf plate of fruit, flowers and rice on a teal-draped table. Two elderly men in white dhotis and white shirts sit on white chairs, garlanded with white jasmine and red roses, their feet resting on brass plates scattered with petals and rice. A grey-haired woman in a pink-striped white sari sits at right, also garlanded, with a red-kumkum bindi. Clay oil lamps and leaf plates stand nearby, and a standing man in a white shirt with an orange-red shawl is visible at top left.2007-02-15
