The banner shows a portrait of a smiling man with a dark moustache and long hair, wearing an orange-red turban and orange-red robes with a red bindi on his forehead. Below the portrait, a band of printed Tamil text reads a caption and a welcome message. Parked motorbikes and green trees with a wall and white metal gates appear in the background. No people are visible in the scene.2010-01-19A printed poster pasted on a weathered, peeling wall covered with other faded paper fliers. The poster is a graphic with a large portrait of a smiling man with long dark hair, wearing an orange turban with a red bindi and an orange shawl over rudraksha malas, raising one hand in greeting against a yellow and red floral backdrop. Tamil text announces a Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam foundation-day event with a dhyana satsang, with date and time details and a featured name, a person, printed on the poster. The portrait is a printed image on the poster, not a physical person in the scene. Appearance-based candidate on the poster matches several cues: long hair, orange turban, orange shawl and rudraksha malas.2007-01-12A photograph of a large printed banner hung on a pale blue fence under a red-lettered sign. The banner shows a portrait of a man in an orange-saffron head wrap, looking upward, wearing a gold-beaded necklace over orange cloth, with long hair falling on one side. The portrait is labelled with a printed name in the banner's top text. The banner's bold headline announces an Ananda Rathotsavam (joyful chariot festival) and a welcome message, with a red-and-white lower panel and a date of 28-10-2006. No physical people are visible in the scene.2006-10-28October 14 20062006-10-14January 12 20072007-01-12August 19 20072007-08-19A photograph of a large roadside billboard on a grassy verge beside a dirt road, with power lines overhead and a parked motorcycle at the lower right. The Tamil headline names Sri Paramahamsa Nithyanandar and the bottom line reads Rathotsava vizha. Two small posters stand on the verge, and the photo is watermarked at the lower right. The banner shows a smiling figure with a saffron-orange turban, long dark hair, saffron-orange robes, a long dark rudraksha mala, and bare feet, seated with hands clasped.
