A photograph of an orange vinyl banner hung on a weathered, peeling white wall. The banner shows a framed portrait of a smiling man wearing an orange turban with a red bindi and an orange shawl, and it carries Tamil and English headings for Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam with a blue Tamil line reading thane payal nivaranappanigal. A caption beside the portrait reads Paramahamsa Nithyananda in Tamil script. Part of a person's white-clad arm and a blue plastic chair are visible at the right edge. The banner is printed on orange fabric with a white border.2012-01-02July 29 20082008-07-29February 13 20092009-02-13January 12 20072007-01-12September 23 20062006-09-23January 06 20132013-01-06January 12 20072007-01-12October 13 20062006-10-13August 19 20072007-08-19January 12 20072007-01-12January 12 20072007-01-12A printed portrait banner hangs against a thatched roof and white cloth backdrop. It shows a smiling man in an orange turban with a red bindi, orange robes and a long rudraksha mala, one hand raised in blessing, set against a radiating orange-yellow halo on a blue background. A Tamil caption reads Paramahamsa Nithyanandar, with a verse below in red text about inviting God within. Swamiji candidate: the banner portrait shows a man in a saffron turban and rudraksha mala; the appearance cues are distinctive but the portrait is printed, so this is a depiction.2007-10-01
