July 17 20082008-07-17A photograph of a large spread of offerings on a red-covered table. Plates and steel trays hold fruits including apples, oranges, bananas, limes and grapes, alongside sweets, nuts, sugar cubes, packaged snacks, coconut-filled confections and wrapped gift packets. Colourful paper rosettes and fringed ornaments decorate the trays. Two people in white clothing stand at the left, one in white with an orange cloth at the top right edge, and a partial figure in orange clothing is visible at the lower right. The setting looks like a temple or ashram offering for a devotional event.2008-07-17July 17 20082008-07-17Overhead view of a red-floored ritual space covered with trays and steel plates of offerings. Silver and brass bowls hold fresh fruit including oranges, apples, green grapes, pomegranates and a sliced melon, alongside sweets, nuts, dried fruit, cookies, yellow rice or sweet, and sliced cheese. Folded orange cloths with dark stripes, stacked on the table, are offered with the food. Gold-coloured ornamental pieces and a silver vessel sit at the top of the frame. No people are visible in the scene.2009-11-27Overhead photo of an offering arrangement laid on a grey stone-tiled floor. Many round silver-rimmed steel plates hold fresh fruit: bananas, pomegranates, grapes, a pineapple, lemons and green limes, plus sweets, nuts, dried fruit, puffed snacks and a mound of white sugar. Small bowls of yellow turmeric powder and spices sit among them. No people or deity murti are visible; the setting suggests a puja offering arrangement.2008-09-03November 05 20062006-11-05July 07 20092009-07-07
