Close view of a ritual arrangement on a colourful striped woven mat. A large silver kalasha wrapped in white cloth and hung with gold bells sits at centre, surrounded by smaller brass-rimmed coconut offerings on leaf-lined plates with rice, red flower petals, banana leaves and bananas. A lit oil lamp stands at left, with a fruit basket behind. An orange-draped object sits beside the central pot. No people are visible, so this shows puja offerings rather than a person.2015-09-15A photograph of a ritual arrangement with a kalasha-style pot and coconut wrapped in red and white cloth, decorated with red and orange marigold garlands and a yellow flower crown. Two bamboo poles tied with straw stand beside it, and bananas sit on banana leaves in front of a small silver oil lamp with a lit flame. In the blurred background, a figure in orange-red cloth sits with a rudraksha-style garland, and a person in orange clothing sits at the right edge, facing left. Several similar decorated pots are visible further back, and a cake-like offering with purple trim sits at the left.2016-03-06 +1 copiesA ritual arrangement on a colourful striped cloth at a temple-style puja.
