Many sit cross-legged or on chairs with eyes closed or gazing forward; some hold notebooks or pens and one woman in the foreground rests her hand on her chin. A woman at right wears a rudraksha mala and a red shawl lies across her lap. Behind them are gold and carved decorative elements and a partly visible fan. The setting suggests a satsang or darshan session.2016-09-22Photograph of seated participants at an ashram gathering.
