Night-time outdoor ritual at a temple-like courtyard. On the left, a man in orange saffron robes and a rudraksha mala with long swept-back grey hair stands with his back partly turned, holding a steel plate with offerings. Beside him, a bald man in a saffron-orange shawl, rudraksha mala and gold chain pours or places items on a tray. On the right, a bare-chested man in maroon and gold-bordered cloth holds a strand of rudraksha beads. Behind them stand white-and-red striped steps, a white altar with a small shrine, potted plants and a golden structure on the left. The left figure's cues of long swept-back hair, saffron robes and rudraksha beads are distinctive, so he may be a person, though the appearance is uncertain.

Three bare-chested men in saffron-orange robes and matching orange head wraps sit on a red cloth before a brass ritual setup. The man on the left has long dreadlocked hair, white ash markings on his forehead and arms, and a yellow-and-orange shawl, and he reaches toward an ornate gold-and-brass casket decorated with white and pink flowers. The man in the centre wears a rudraksha mala and a white forehead mark, and the man on the right, wearing spectacles and a long beard, also wears a rudraksha mala. Brass bowls, a kalasha-like vessel, a steel pot, fruit and small oil lamps sit before them, with a figure in white at the right edge. The scene appears to be a puja or ritual outdoors near greenery.
