A night-time photograph of a seated man in a rust-orange shawl and bare-shouldered orange garment extending his right hand to touch the forehead of a kneeling man in a white shirt with folded hands and a red-and-white beaded garland. The seated man has long swept-back dark hair and a small red mark on his forehead. A dark car and a yellow-and-blue striped pillar stand behind them, with a woman in white partly visible at right. The seated figure shows distinctive saffron ascetic attire and long hair, consistent with a person receiving or giving blessing in what appears to be a darshan setting; the kneeling devotee wears white ritual clothing.

He rests his hand on a silver tray held before him by a kneeling attendant in a red-and-gold turban and maroon cloth, with white painted markings on his arms and chest. A microphone is visible at lower right and a silver car sits in the background, with smoke haze behind the scene.
