A photograph of a seated man on an ornate gold throne with red velvet cushions, a golden trident standing at his left. He wears a dark turban, a maroon-red robe, multiple gold chains and a gold armlet, and a garland of red, pink and yellow flowers. He smiles with his right arm extended. In the foreground a devotee in white clothes bows forward, touching the throne area in a padapuja-style offering. A seated figure on an ornate gold throne with a tiger-skin cushion wears saffron-orange robes, a yellow and red flower garland, bangles and a red bindi, and extends an arm forward with a smile. A shaved-headed man with white tilak and an orange-and-red shawl stands beside him, holding a tray with orange and pink-tipped sandals on a green silk cloth. A third person in white clothes and a rudraksha mala bends forward to offer respect. Brass lamps and a pink-and-blue wall are in the background. Two physical people are visible, with a third partly seen at the right edge.2013-05-29A photograph of a seated figure on an ornate gilded throne with a tall golden back and a gold trident-topped staff beside it. The seated figure wears a red-orange robe, layered gold necklaces, a long garland of yellow and pink flowers, gold armlets and bangles, and a white-and-red forehead marking, with long swept-back dark hair and a crescent ornament. A kneeling man in a white shirt and a young woman in a red-orange outfit with a white flower in her hair offer pink flower petals and a small brass vessel on a red cushion. The setting is a temple-like hall with a red cloth backdrop.2016-05-20A seated figure with long dark swept-back hair, a crown-like ornament, a white tilak on the forehead and a red kumkum mark, wearing a rust-red robe, layered gold and rudraksha-style necklaces, a long multicolour marigold and jasmine garland, and gold bangles, smiles on an ornate gold throne with a red cushion. A man in a white shirt with a red shawl sits with his back to the camera, offering flowers at the feet of the seated figure, who has pink and white flower petals at the feet, in what appears to be a pratyaksha padapuja. A golden trident motif and a gold lion figure stand beside the throne, and a few people are visible at the right edge. A printed copyright and source caption appears on the lower right.2016-05-20Photograph of a seated man in red-saffron robes with a gold-accented throne behind him, a rudraksha mala draped over his shoulders, and white vibhuti marks on his forehead, extending his hand in blessing toward a young boy in a white shirt who bends forward with his head lowered, a red patterned cloth draped over his head. A woman in a red and gold sari, wearing a rudraksha mala and holding a red cloth, stands at left. Golden deity murti and ornate decorations are visible in the background. Swamiji (probable) is seated, identified by his rudraksha malas, long swept-back hair, saffron robes, and the gold-accented throne. Several people are present in the scene.2015-09-18August 23 20152015-08-23A photograph of a seated figure on an ornate gold throne with a red cushion and a tiger-striped cloth, receiving a padapuja. The seated figure wears a rust-red robe, a long multi-coloured flower garland of pink, yellow and white blooms, a heavy gold and beaded necklace with a pendant, gold bangles and a tilak with a red bindu, with long dark hair swept up. A man in a white shirt and red shoulder cloth kneels at lower left, bowing over the feet, which rest on a red cloth strewn with pink and white petals. A golden trident stands to the left of the throne. Appearance-based label: Swamiji (probable), with long hair, a red robe, ceremonial gold necklaces and a rudraksha-style mala, receiving padapuja. Two partly visible people are at the right edge.2016-05-20June 26 20172017-06-26A seated man in a rust-red turban decorated with jewelled ornaments sits on a gilded throne with a large golden lotus-petal backrest and red bolster cushions. He wears a rust-red robe, a gold necklace, a long garland of pink and white flowers, and rudraksha bracelets on his arms. A bare-chested man with a white cloth tied around his head bows forward at the left edge, his hand raised near his face. Behind the throne hang gold and red drapes, and a brass oil lamp stands at right. A man wearing a turban, robe and multiple garlands, seated on a throne, matches the page's Swamiji reference through distinctive ceremonial cues, so the identity is only probable from appearance.2017-07-08A seated man with long dark hair wrapped in a high bun, wearing a rust-brown robe, a red-beaded mala and layered gold necklaces and armlets, sits on a red velvet throne cushioned with a zebra-striped cloth. Behind him stands a backdrop of marigold and rose garlands. A priest in a white dhoti with gold borders and a shawl bends forward toward him, offering something in a silver dish; the gold wall behind holds carved figures. Swamiji (probable): the seated man's long swept-back hair, rudraksha-style red mala, ornate gold necklaces and saffron-toned robe are cues for the Swamiji candidate, who is receiving an offering in a temple-style puja setting.2016-07-19
