Above him, draped crimson fabric with gold-embroidered borders hangs beside a gold-framed structure. At the lower right, the orange robe of another person is partially visible. The scene conveys reverence and devotion.2016-07-11April 14 20182018-04-14A close photograph of a devotee in a white kurta prostrating face-down on a beige carpet, forehead and hands touching the floor before a standing figure's bare feet. The standing figure wears a rust-orange cloth with a darker orange border, visible only from the knees down. The devotee's wrist shows a dark bead bracelet. The gesture suggests padapuja-style reverence, though only the feet and prostrating body are shown.2013-01-23A photograph of a man in a white shirt and blue trousers bowing low with his forehead touching the feet of a seated figure on a red cushion. The seated person wears a brown garment with gold border, and a green sari with gold bangles is visible at the right edge. The floor is covered with a red cloth and a gold-framed portrait is visible in the background. The posture suggests a pranam or padapuja gesture of reverence.2016-07-13A man in white ritual clothes kneels on the floor and bows his head to rest on a red velvet cushion set on an ornate silver footstool with scrolled legs. A second person in a rust-red robe with a gold border stands beside him, his hand resting on the kneeling man's head. The setting is a dim hall with a patterned floor, and a gold-trimmed red cloth hangs in the background.2018-03-09A seated figure in a dark red robe with a gold-edged shawl sits in a large brown leather armchair, wearing a white-and-red flower garland and a beaded rudraksha-style mala. A man in white kurta and dhoti kneels and bows low on a red patterned carpet beside a footstool, his hands on the floor. A small brass oil lamp and a white cup sit on an orange-draped table. Another person in red clothing stands at the right edge, and a wall fan is visible at left. The seated figure shows distinctive adornments and a saffron-red garment consistent with a person candidate, but the face and presentation are not clearly identifiable, so the identity is uncertain.2015-08-18A young man in a cream checked kurta, with a silver-toned cord around his neck, bends forward prostrate on a red floor covering, his forehead touching the bare feet of a seated figure. That figure wears a saffron-orange robe draped over the lap and a wooden walking stick rests against the seat. Behind, another person in white trousers stands at the edge of the frame. The scene looks like a padapuja, the ritual of honouring a guru's feet, though the identity of the seated figure cannot be established from appearance alone.2006-10-08A bare-chested older man with grey hair and a shaved head bends forward, pressing his forehead to a seated figure's bare foot resting on a red velvet cushioned footstool with a silver-embossed base. The man wears white dhoti-style cloth, a gold armlet and a long mala of dark beads around his neck. The seated figure wears a rust-orange robe and is seated on an ornate silver throne. Behind them, a white and gold-bordered cloth hangs, and a silver lamp or vessel sits on the colourful woven floor mat. This is a foot-touching gesture of reverence, a padapuja-style act of devotion. The seated person's face is not visible, so no identity is asserted.2017-10-15A devotee in a white shirt and grey trousers kneels on a red-carpeted floor and bows forward, touching the bare feet of a seated figure. The seated person wears a rust-brown dhoti or robe and sits on a gold-carved throne with red cushions. Marigold, jasmine and yellow flower petals are scattered on the carpet, and a red velvet cushion lies in front of the throne. A large garland of red and white flowers drapes over the throne's arm.2016-08-14A man in white kurta with white embroidered pattern bows deeply with his forehead touching the feet of a seated figure wearing orange robes and a leopard-print shawl with a red-and-green flower garland at the waist. The man has folded hands and wears glasses. The seated figure is on a golden-brown upholstered seat. In the foreground are yellow, orange and pink marigold and flower petal arrangements on the floor and a polished brass vessel at the right edge. The seated figure's face is not visible, so no appearance-based a person candidate is established.2010-02-12
