March 13 20132013-03-13March 13 20132013-03-13A photograph of a man with long swept-back dark hair, bare-chested except for a rust-brown wrap over his shoulder, standing in a corridor with orange and red painted walls. He wears a heavy gold ceremonial necklace with a large gold pendant, rudraksha-style beaded bracelets on his arms and wrist, and a gold ring; he raises one hand to his brow in a gesture of greeting. Behind him a monastic figure in saffron-orange robes holds a brass plate, and a sign on the wall reads 'Silence please'. The cues of long swept-back hair, ornate gold necklace and rudraksha beads are consistent with a person in person, but identity is uncertain from appearance alone.2013-06-27A man stands in front of an orange-painted wall beside a white door with red trim, wearing a rust-brown sleeveless garment draped over one shoulder and a red-brown wrap across the other. He has a red tilak on his forehead, a small gold earring, and a thick necklace of large gold beads alternating with reddish-brown beaded strands, plus matching beaded armbands. He gazes off to the side. In the foreground a black metal bowl and pink flowers sit near a brass vessel. Behind him on the right hangs a framed picture of a seated deity murti with a trident, and a blue sign with Kannada text is mounted above.2013-06-20A photograph inside a temple with orange and red painted walls. A man with long dark hair, a red bindi and an orange-saffron dhoti draped over bare shoulders wears long rudraksha malas and stands with hands folded over a brass vessel, with smoke rising. Behind him, a younger boy in orange clothes with a white tilak holds a round metal plate with flowers, beside a framed picture of a deity with a trident and a blue-skinned figure. A small notice is pinned on the wall and a white paper sign is placed beside the door.2013-05-30Photograph in an orange-painted temple corridor. A smiling man with shoulder-length dark hair and a red bindi wears a rust-orange draped garment with a long rudraksha mala and a gold waist cloth, raising one hand in greeting while the other rests on his chest. Behind him a framed painting shows a seated deity with a trident. A woman in maroon and gold clothing with a hair clip stands at right, and a bronze bowl sits on the floor at left. A blue sign reads Silence please. Swamiji (probable): the man shows long hair, rudraksha mala and orange clothing in a temple setting, so this is an appearance-based label only.2013-05-30January 28 20132013-01-28A man stands in profile on the right, bare-chested with an orange-saffron cloth draped over one shoulder and a thick orange shawl with gold-toned beaded garland around his neck. He wears a gold necklace, a small earring, a red bindi and white vertical tilak on his forehead, and a beaded rudraksha-style armband on his upper arm. His long dark hair is swept back as he gazes upward. On the left, a brass lamp or vessel and a pink cloth sit near red and yellow flowers. Behind him a portrait in an ornate gold frame shows a man in orange clothing with long hair and a bead garland. The wall is terracotta-coloured with a small notice on the left. Appearance-based label: a person, standing in person.2013-02-21Photograph inside an orange-walled temple shrine. A man with long, swept-back dark hair and a red tilak on his forehead raises one hand in a blessing gesture, wearing an orange-brown saffron-toned sleeveless wrap and a long rudraksha mala. A small brass bowl stands on a stone ledge in the foreground, and a framed devotional picture of a deity with a trident hangs on the orange wall at right. A partially visible person in orange clothing holds a brass plate at far right. The man is an appearance-based probable Swamiji candidate, given the page's stated attendance and the long hair, rudraksha mala and saffron clothing, while the wall-mounted print depicts a deity.2013-05-30A photograph of a man standing indoors in front of an orange-painted wall and a pink cloth hanging at left. He wears an orange-saffron shawl draped over one shoulder, a dense multi-strand orange and gold beaded mala necklace, a gold pendant necklace, gold hoop earrings, and beaded orange armbands. He has a white tilak on his forehead with a red dot at its centre. A small brass kalasha-style vessel sits on a tray in the foreground. At right, a framed photograph of a smiling person in orange garments with floral garlands rests on a red cushion beside a gilded frame. A blue sign hangs on the wall behind.2013-02-21June 25 20132013-06-25A photograph of a man standing at a temple shrine with smoke from incense sticks drifting across the frame. He wears an orange-saffron cloth draped over his shoulder and bare upper torso, with multiple strands of rudraksha beads across his chest and neck, a rudraksha band on his upper arm, and a red bindi and tilak on his forehead. He holds a brass cup in one hand while incense sticks stand in a brass vessel nearby. Behind him is a framed image of a deity in the background, and a blue sign reads Silence please on the wall. A red sign in the upper right also appears. The man has long swept-back hair in a bun.2012-04-04
