A shaved-headed priest in an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl, with a rudraksha mala at his neck, stands at the left pouring liquid from a vessel onto a golden deity murti of a standing figure holding a spear and trident, flanked by two smaller golden figures in yellow garments. A woman in a blue sari stands at the left edge beside a large metal pot. The shrine is decorated with ornate gold arches, brass kalasha pots and a lit oil lamp in the background. The priest is not a clearly identifiable candidate, so the figure is described by role only.2011-11-01A photograph of an outdoor abhishekam at a shrine pavilion. A man with long dark hair, bare-chested and wearing a saffron/orange shawl and dhoti, pours water from a vessel over a metal peetha-like base. Behind him stand two gilded deity murtis of a couple, adorned with ornate gold crowns, layered white and gold necklaces, and one wearing a green and red silk sari with gold border. A golden trident-like staff stands beside them, and a stone-carved pavilion with green trees forms the background. The man's appearance (long hair, saffron cloth, distinctive adornment) fits the a person description, but the face is not clearly visible, so identification is uncertain.2007-02-23October 07 20112011-10-07November 01 20112011-11-01December 03 20162016-12-03A photograph of a Hindu temple worship scene. Two men in orange saffron clothing stand before a golden deity murti of Shiva Linga with a silver-and-gold shaft and a black stone base, draped in a garland of yellow, red, white and green flowers. A man in a left-side position holds a brass vessel of offerings; the central figure with long dark hair and a red-beaded mala pours or offers over the linga. Behind them, large deity figures in orange and gold garments wear crowns and gold necklaces, with a small white-robed statue and an orange turban on a pedestal in front. This appears to be abhishekam puja.2012-01-01A shaved-headed priest in an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl, with a rudraksha-style mala and bangles, pours liquid from a silver vessel over a golden deity murti of Subramanya Swami standing on a golden pedestal under an ornate golden arch. Two golden attendant figures in yellow garments flank the central murti, and the abhishekam is in progress with liquid flowing over the figures. Brass kalasha pots and floral offerings are visible in the background, along with a red curtain at left.2011-11-01March 07 20132013-03-07October 06 20112011-10-06
