April 04 20142014-04-04A seated figure in a rust-orange turban, orange-brown robe and white floral garland with a red flower, sitting on a red and gold throne with a leopard-print cloth, places his hand on the bowed head of a shaven-headed man in orange robes and a rudraksha mala who holds his palms together in namaskar. The man in the orange turban holds a bouquet of red roses. Behind them, several women stand on red carpet: one in white with a red shawl, one in white and green with a red shawl, one in lavender sari, and one in a green and beige sari. A golden lion-faced throne armrest is visible at left. Swamiji (probable): the seated figure in the rust turban and orange-brown robe, with a gold ornament at his turban, garland and bangles, is seated on the throne receiving a devotee's obeisance. Priest or devotee roles describe the others.2014-04-04April 04 20142014-04-04April 04 20142014-04-04June 28 20162016-06-28A photograph of a seated man in brown-orange robes with a belt of gold-toned ornamentation, wearing a floral garland of white and pink flowers and bangles, smiling as a man in white kurta with an orange-trimmed shirt bends forward and reaches up with both hands, one hand on the seated man's head. Behind them, a golden-framed red throne and leopard-print cushions. On the left, a man in white shirt has his palms pressed together, and at right a man in white robe with an orange-and-white shawl holds fabric. Several people are visible in the background.2012-12-10A photo of a ceremonial blessing. A figure with long black hair, a white vibhuti mark on the forehead, and a pink-white-green garland sits on the left wearing a tiger-striped yellow and black garment with a brown sash and gold bangles, and places a hand on the head of a seated older man with short grey hair. The older man wears a deep red and orange shawl and is bowing his head. Behind them a standing figure in a peach and orange sari with a rudraksha mala is visible, and a golden kalasha-style vessel and a maroon cushioned seat appear in the setting. Several onlookers stand in the background. The seated figure wearing the striped garment matches several appearance cues, with long swept-back hair, garland and gold adornments, but the appearance is not conclusive, so the identity is recorded as unsure.2012-12-16A seated figure in an orange-red turban and matching orange-red robe sits on a red tiger-striped throne, wearing a long white and yellow flower garland and a red flower at the ear. The figure holds a red rose extended toward a kneeling man in a purple shirt who bends forward to touch the figure's hand. Behind them, women in white and purple saris, one with an orange shawl, stand on a red carpet beside a gold ornamental lion. Two people are visible at the right edge in saris. Gold decorative elements and a dark red curtain frame the scene.2014-04-04September 14 20152015-09-14A photograph of an indoor ritual on a red carpet. A seated woman with swept-back dark hair, a white tilak, a long red-and-yellow marigold and rose garland, gold bangles and a red-and-gold sari with a leopard-print cloth on her lap places her hand on the head of a man kneeling before her. He wears an ochre-brown kurta and bows his head. Behind them a standing woman in white clothing with a rudraksha-style mala and beaded necklace watches, beside a golden ornamental object draped in purple and garlanded with flowers, and a white cloth-covered vessel sits on the floor. This is a blessing or initiation moment; the seated figure is not clearly identifiable from appearance, so no a person candidate is asserted.2014-04-13May 11 20142014-05-11April 30 20182018-04-30
