June 15 20132013-06-15Close-up photograph of a puja tray during a ritual offering. Several hands reach into a gold-embossed tray, holding small silver vessels and cone-shaped paper packets. Heaps of red rose petals and whole red roses fill the centre, with a small brass bell and silver bowls around them. Bangles are visible on the wrists, and a figure in orange robes sits partly visible at the upper left. A grey-haired head appears at the lower right corner. This appears to be a morning paduka puja offering with flowers and silver implements.2010-09-28Close overhead photo of a puja tray set on a gold-toned plate. Hands in the frame hold small silver spoons and fingers reach toward a heap of red rose petals and fresh red flowers with green leaves. Silver bowls with engraved patterns surround the tray, and a silver container sits at the upper right. A person with grey hair is visible at the right edge, and a wrist wears a dark bead bracelet and another wears gold bangles. The arrangement suggests a ritual offering of flowers and fluids during worship.
