Dusk scene outdoors before a low stone platform and a group of grey stone sculptures of standing figures, flanked by dark green foliage and a red wall. Three men in devotional clothing face the sculptures: the central figure, seen from behind with a bare shaved head and bare shoulders, wears a rust-red garment with gold-bordered sash and a sacred thread over the shoulder; the two on the right wear white dhotis with gold borders and shaved heads. The man in white at centre holds a lit oil lamp flame in his hand, performing an aarti-style offering to the sculptures. Loose stones and a small plant are at their feet.2014-10-03December 21 20102010-12-21 +1 copiesOutdoor temple scene under a large spreading tree. On the left, a black stone deity murti with a yellow cloth tied on its head and a yellow garment stands beneath a white arched frame, set on a mound of red-orange offerings with a small nameplate in front. In the centre, a woman in a yellow sari holds a lit lamp near the tree, and beside her a man in orange robes and a rudraksha mala carries a brass tray with offerings. Behind them, a man in white robes and other devotees stand, and a colourful canopy hangs on the right. The ground has coloured rangoli designs, indicating a puja or aarti in progress.2010-12-23August 17 20062006-08-17A photograph of a homa fire ritual at an outdoor pavilion.
