Behind it, more gold trays with red flowers sit on a golden surface. The foot appears to belong to a person performing a padapuja-style foot offering, a ritual in which the feet of a revered teacher are honoured with flowers. Only a single foot and ankle are visible, so no face or full body can be seen.2017-07-05 +1 copiesClose photo of a bare foot resting on a large silver-toned tray heaped with flowers and offerings. The foot wears an orange-beaded anklet with gold ornaments. The person's lower leg is covered by a rust-orange cloth with gold zari border. The tray holds pink lotus and rose petals, yellow marigold flowers, green leaves, red petals, and brown strips of ornate ritual material. A pink and white flower garland with blue beads hangs from the ankle. A gold-patterned throne or cushion edge is at left, and silver puja vessels sit in the upper right. Appears to be a padapuja-style offering of feet.2017-06-23Close-up photograph of a bare foot resting on a golden ritual tray strewn with white jasmine flowers and orange and red marigold and rose petals. The foot wears a red-brown rudraksha mala around the ankle and is draped in orange cloth with gold border at the edge. Around it sit silver bowls holding flowers, a white conch shell, a small brass kalasha-style vessel and a silver tray. The foot is the only visible body part, so the ceremony's participants are not identifiable in frame.2012-09-05Close-up photo of a padapuja: bare feet resting on a polished brass tray filled with flowers. Red roses and a gold-beaded garland are draped over the foot, with a white lotus and yellow marigold petals on the left and a silver bowl behind. Only a sliver of red and gold-bordered cloth is visible at the top right, indicating a robed person whose body is out of frame. No face is visible.2013-12-08July 05 20172017-07-05 +3 copiesClose-up photograph of bare feet resting on an ornate gold-coloured embossed platform or throne step. The legs are wrapped in orange saffron cloth. Beside the feet on the gold tray lie red roses, white jasmine-style flowers, a strand of beads and a small rudraksha-like mala. The visible person is partially shown, showing only legs and feet, so no face or full figure appears. A white garment is faintly visible at upper left. Only the lower body is present.2011-01-23July 05 20172017-07-05 +1 copies
