Devotees in white dhotis, shirts and saris work at the base of a large banyan tree with dense hanging aerial roots, at what appears to be an outdoor kara seva. A man in a white shirt and white dhoti stands at the centre, bending near the roots, while a woman in a white sari to the left smiles and carries a shallow metal tray. Other people in white clothing stand and move among the trunks. The ground is reddish-brown earth piled around a low grey concrete wall encircling the tree, with more trays and loose soil on the path. No saffron-clad figure is visible.2008-02-23February 23 20082008-02-23September 17 20142014-09-17February 01 20182018-02-01November 04 20142014-11-04July 08 20102010-07-08A large ancient banyan tree with thick aerial roots and spreading branches dominates an outdoor site with bare red-brown earth.
