A procession walks along a red-earth path beneath leafy trees toward an open sky. A person in front wears a long orange-red wrap, a large gold necklace and a bead garland, with arms held at the sides. Behind them, another figure in an orange-red dhoti and bare chest raises a long wooden staff or pole. Several more people in orange and red saffron-toned clothes follow, one in an orange shawl on the left. A blue mat or cloth runs along the path.2013-07-20Outdoor procession along a dirt path shaded by leafy trees at an ashram, with saffron-robed devotees walking barefoot. In the foreground a figure with long dark hair wears orange robes, a long orange shawl draped over one shoulder, and multiple rudraksha malas. Behind him, a robed devotee in orange carries a tray of offerings and fresh leaves, while another carries a tall wooden staff. Wooden rustic fencing lines the path, with red-trimmed buildings visible in the background. The scene appears to be a ritual walk within a sacred ashram garden.2009-07-07July 20 20132013-07-20Outdoor photo of a procession walking along a narrow path of woven mats through a shaded grove with tall trees and palms. At the centre, a man with long dark hair wears a white shawl over bare shoulders, a gold ceremonial necklace and a wrapped saffron-brown lower garment; he walks with his hands folded. Several attendants in red and orange-red robes follow behind him, some holding small objects and others walking in step. The ground is reddish earth with scattered stepping stones, and a tree trunk with hanging vines stands at the left edge.2013-11-02Outdoor photo of a shaded dirt path through a garden with leafy trees and low shrubs. Several men in saffron-orange robes walk single file: the foreground figure in a red-pink dhoti and shawl wears a garland of marigolds and holds a brass tray; other men in orange wear beaded necklaces, and one bald man in orange with a rudraksha-style garland walks at the front-left. Behind them, people in white and orange clothing move along a path near a red-walled building. No candidate shows distinctive long hair, crown, or ceremonial gold necklace clearly enough to identify anyone, so the people are described by role and clothing only.2010-12-26January 13 20142014-01-13A photograph of a procession on a dirt path shaded by trees, with wooden poles and a low curb along the edge. In the foreground, a long-haired figure in an orange robe with a rudraksha mala walks barefoot, hands folded. Behind, a line of devotees in orange robes and garlands walks with a silver tray of offerings and a golden trident-topped staff. Pink tents and greenery are visible in the background.2009-07-07August 05 20092009-08-05A small group of people in saffron-orange robes walks along a narrow stone-paved path through dense green forest. Overhanging branches and leaves frame the scene, and the figures are distant and partly obscured, moving in a line toward the upper left. The path is lined with low stone edging and the light is soft and dim. A faint purple bird logo appears in the upper left corner.2014-01-13January 13 20142014-01-13December 23 20082008-12-23Outdoor photo of a dirt path lined with white-painted curbs and wooden rail fencing beneath leafy trees. Several saffron-robed monastics walk along the path; the lead figures wear orange turbans and rudraksha malas, and the one in the centre wears a saffron robe and carries a folded paper. Behind them stand people in western shirts and trousers, and a saffron-clad figure stands at right. A white kolam floral design is drawn on the ground in the foreground. Greenery and a white wall are visible beyond.2008-12-30
