Night photograph of a deity murti seated on a gilded ornate palanquin with a green and gold brocade backdrop, garlanded with white flower necklaces and a red sash, carried on a red-and-gold cloth. Five men bend under the palanquin, a bald man in white dhoti with an orange border at left, others in dark shirts and a pink striped shirt. Two flaming torches are held aloft at left and right, and a woman in dark clothing holds a torch at far left. The scene suggests a night procession or ratha/palanquin ceremony, with flames lighting the gold work. A translucent purple logo sits at top left and a copyright overlay runs across the lower right.2012-05-06May 06 20122012-05-06November 06 20162016-11-06Night procession under a green and gold silk canopy supported by gilded pillars with carved figures. A decorated deity murti with a crown and marigold garlands is carried on a silver palanquin by bare-chested men in orange and saffron cloths, with rudraksha malas and white sacred thread. A man in a white dhoti and shawl stands at left holding the canopy, and another man raises the canopy at right. Strings of coloured lights hang overhead. He is adjusting or steadying the structure with one hand while gripping a wooden pole. Behind him stands a deity murti dressed in teal garments and layered gold necklaces, framed by garlands of pink, yellow, red and purple flowers. Orange and yellow tassels hang from the chariot's upper frame, and a gold-toned decorated canopy structure surrounds the scene in what appears to be a nighttime procession setting.2013-04-24January 24 20162016-01-24A photograph of an ornate gold palanquin or ratha-style chariot canopy at night under a corrugated roof. Inside, a deity murti or utsava image is decorated with red, orange and white flower garlands and draped in green and red cloth. Gold-colored carved railings and tassels in pink, teal, orange and black hang from the frame. A bare-skinned person's back is partly visible behind the carrying structure, but no face is visible.2013-04-24Night procession on a gold-framed palanquin-style cart with a golden arched canopy and a deity murti draped in garlands of white, pink and red flowers. Behind him, a bare-chested attendant in orange dhoti waves a white fan toward the deity. Colourful tasselled umbrellas frame the scene, and a man in white dhoti with a rudraksha mala walks at left.
