An elderly bearded man in a white dhoti and shawl with a rudraksha mala and forehead marks, holding an orange-yellow cloth, leans in at left. A young man in a grey t-shirt stands behind the palanquin, another man in a dark maroon garment stands at right, and a gold-framed mirror and ornate red-cushioned seat are visible. Five men bend under the palanquin, a bald man in white dhoti with an orange border at left, others in dark shirts and a pink striped shirt. Two flaming torches are held aloft at left and right, and a woman in dark clothing holds a torch at far left. The scene suggests a night procession or ratha/palanquin ceremony, with flames lighting the gold work. A translucent purple logo sits at top left and a copyright overlay runs across the lower right.2012-05-06Night procession scene at a decorated ratha. A deity murti is adorned with a crown, multicoloured garlands and flower strands, and orange cloth draped at its base; coconuts, fruits and brass vessels sit on the cart. A man in orange robes with long swept-back hair and a visible rudraksha mala smiles while standing at the cart's green pole, with saffron-coloured cloth at his shoulders.
