A photograph of a large banyan tree with aerial roots, wrapped with garlands of orange and yellow marigolds. At its base sits a white-plastered platform decorated with kolam-style white chalk patterns, holding brass plates with offerings and small lamps. On the right, a single person in a cream-white robe with gold border stands bowing with hands folded near the tree trunk, long dark hair falling down. Other people are faintly visible in the background among the trees. The person in the foreground wears a cream and gold garment with no visible saffron, crown or mala cues, so no candidate is identified.2009-01-01A photograph of a figure in a white and gold-bordered garment leaning forward with their forehead pressed against a large banyan tree trunk in an outdoor setting. The figure has long dark hair, wears a white flower garland with red blossoms, and holds one hand against the bark. Orange marigold garlands are strung across the trunk and branches, with a sandy ground and a low white wall behind. This appears to be a devotional gesture of reverence toward the sacred tree. The person is the only one visible, and the figure's identity is not established by visible evidence alone.2010-01-01A person in white ritual dress with a gold-bordered white shawl and a white flower garland with red beads leans forward and presses their forehead against the trunk of a large banyan tree. Orange marigold garlands are wrapped around the trunk and hang from its branches. The ground is bare earth with scattered petals, and a low white platform sits at the base of the tree. The tree is in a courtyard with a boundary wall in the background.2010-01-01January 01 20092009-01-01A photograph of a single person standing barefoot on bare earth beside a large banyan tree with many aerial roots. The person wears a saffron-orange robe, a long white, green and red flower garland hangs from the neck to the knees, and bangles or beaded wrist ornaments are visible on the right wrist. The person leans forward with the forehead resting against the trunk in a reverent pose. A white painted triangle is on the ground at lower left, and a faint circular logo appears at the bottom left corner. Sunlight and tree shadows fall across the scene.2006-12-29January 01 20052005-01-01 +1 copiesJanuary 04 20152015-01-04January 04 20152015-01-04May 05 20122012-05-05January 01 20042004-01-01A photograph of an outdoor ashram grove beneath a large banyan tree with many aerial roots and trunks. In the centre, a person in an orange robe and a leopard-print shawl stands barefoot on a raised stone platform, wearing a white and red flower garland and holding a small bundle of offerings, with head bowed close to the trunk. Stone-edged square pits and flat stone slabs surround the tree. At the right edge, two people in white dhotis and orange cloth stand farther back among white pillars.2010-10-05January 01 20172017-01-01
