February 25 20072007-02-25A man with long, swept-back black hair wearing an orange shawl over a rust-red inner top stands in a dim room looking upward, one hand placed on his chest. Behind him is a red velvet curtain and a carved grey stone niche with a brass bell and a metal vessel on a ledge. At the right edge another person in white with orange wrap has hands pressed together in prayer. Distinctive long hair and orange shawl cues suggest a probable Swamiji (probable) in a devotional setting.2007-02-25February 25th 20072007-02-25Photograph of a man in profile standing beside a grey stone carved shrine niche with a relief of a deity figure. He has long, wavy black hair swept back, a white tilak on his forehead, and wears an orange saffron wrap over a red undergarment. His right hand rests on his chest in a reverent gesture while he gazes upward. A red curtain and white backdrop are behind him. The appearance is not a clear enough match for a confident identification, so the person is described by role as a devotee standing at a temple shrine.2009-08-24A man in profile with long dark wavy hair and an orange saffron wrap looks upward beside an ornately carved pale stone pillar. The carvings show deity figures in niches, floral medallions and mouldings. This is an appearance-based candidate, so the label is a person, shown as a person inspecting carved temple stonework.2006-09-18September 18 20062006-09-18Photograph in profile of a man with long, swept-back black hair wearing an orange shawl draped over his shoulders and a red and yellow flower garland. He has a white vibhuti mark on his forehead and looks upward toward a carved dark stone pillar with figurative relief sculpture, with a red patterned cloth behind him. Swamiji (probable) appearance-based label applies: long swept-back hair, saffron shawl and flower garland.2010-08-14September 16 20062006-09-16A photograph of a man in profile speaking inside a temple shrine room with white stone architecture. He has long, swept-back dark hair, a small red forehead mark, and wears a saffron-orange shawl over an orange top with a gold-bead necklace. Behind him, a deity murti in yellow and red garments stands in a white niche, and a fire extinguisher hangs on the wall.2006-03-23A photograph of a man with long, swept-back dark hair standing beside a stone-carved temple pillar with a lion relief at the left edge. He wears an orange-saffron garment with a gold border draped over one shoulder and a long necklace of gold-coloured beads, with a red bindi on his forehead. He stands with hands folded at his waist, gazing upward, beside a shallow stone basin holding water. Behind him are a red curtain, a cream-coloured door and orange walls, with a framed picture of a deity on the right.2011-09-15Night photograph of a man with long, swept-back black hair wearing a flowing saffron-orange shawl over a rust-red top, with a small red bindi on his forehead. He stands at left, one arm extended toward a large grey carved stone object, possibly a lingam-shaped form, with white stone blocks behind him against a dark background. Appearance-based probable Swamiji (probable) identified by long hair, saffron-orange shawl and forehead mark; no other physical people are visible.2007-02-25A photograph of a long-haired man in saffron-orange wrap clothing seated before a weathered yellow wall with red-painted panels. He has a white vertical tilak with a red dot on his forehead and looks off to the side. A torn printed notice is pinned to the wall at upper right, and a small gold ornament is visible at the right edge.2008-07-03
