February 25 20072007-02-25February 25 20072007-02-25A man with long, swept-back black hair wearing an orange shawl over a rust-red inner top stands in a dim room looking upward, one hand placed on his chest. Behind him is a red velvet curtain and a carved grey stone niche with a brass bell and a metal vessel on a ledge. At the right edge another person in white with orange wrap has hands pressed together in prayer. Distinctive long hair and orange shawl cues suggest a probable Swamiji (probable) in a devotional setting.2007-02-25Night photograph of a man with long, swept-back black hair wearing a flowing saffron-orange shawl over a rust-red top, with a small red bindi on his forehead. He stands at left, one arm extended toward a large grey carved stone object, possibly a lingam-shaped form, with white stone blocks behind him against a dark background. Appearance-based probable Swamiji (probable) identified by long hair, saffron-orange shawl and forehead mark; no other physical people are visible.2007-02-25August 24 20092009-08-24September 23 20062006-09-23February 16 20072007-02-16A photograph in profile of a man with long, swept-back dark wavy hair and a small red tilak on his forehead, wearing a sleeveless saffron-orange shawl draped over his shoulders. He sits in front of an ornate golden altar decorated with flower garlands in red, white and yellow, with brass kalasha pots and a pink draped cloth behind him. His right hand rests near a brass plate of flowers and offerings. Given the long hair, saffron clothing and ritual setting, this is an appearance-based probable Swamiji (probable) seated at a puja.2006-12-24A photograph of a man in profile speaking inside a temple shrine room with white stone architecture. Behind him, a deity murti in yellow and red garments stands in a white niche, and a fire extinguisher hangs on the wall.2006-03-23A photograph of a man seated in front of a grey stone temple plinth with a brass bowl of fruit and brass oil lamps nearby. He has long, swept-back dark hair, a red tilak on his forehead, and wears an orange saffron wrap over his shoulders with a rudraksha mala of brown beads across his chest. A wooden tray with flower petals and offerings sits at the lower left. The setting suggests a temple ritual space.2010-07-03 +1 copiesAugust 30 20062006-08-30A photograph of a temple courtyard with a grey stone shrine platform and carved stone pillar. A man with long, swept-back dark hair wears a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, a dark rudraksha mala around his neck, and stands at the shrine with one hand raised in gesture. On the left, a white and orange seated figure. Behind is a red and gold gate, a red curtain, and a white building with red painted base. Crisp detail, the courtyard looks wet from rain.2010-07-11
