June 20 20132013-06-20A procession of young people in ashram attire walks along a concrete path past a red brick wall and green foliage. In front, a tall young man wears a rust-brown dhoti and wrap with a heavy gold-and-beige floral garland and a large gold pendant, plus gold armbands and a red tilak on his forehead. Behind him, a figure in orange-saffron robes with a rudraksha mala and a pendant walks with white forehead markings. Other children and teens in maroon and red-gold garments with white forehead paste walk barefoot, some with hands folded in namaskar. A long brass horn is raised at the top of the frame.2013-06-27May 30 20132013-05-30A photograph of a procession on a paved path in front of an orange-red brick wall, with trees and a pale sky behind. A bare-chested man at centre, with long swept-back dark hair, a red bindi, a large ornate gold necklace and a rudraksha-style bead mala, wears a saffron-orange shawl and orange dhoti with gold borders, and gold armlets and bangles. He smiles and walks forward. Around him, young girls and women in maroon and red saris and dresses with gold borders press their palms together in greeting. A boy beside him plays a long curved brass horn, and a boy in maroon plays a drum. Several children in orange and maroon clothing follow in the line.2013-07-02A photograph of a group of people in an open courtyard before an orange-brick wall. A central man in a rust-brown dhoti and wrap, with a large pale yellow-and-white flower garland, a red bindi and a rudraksha mala, walks barefoot along a woven straw mat. Around him, young men and women in orange, peach and maroon robes stand with white forehead markings and rudraksha malas; a woman on the left presses her palms together in namaste, and a drummer on the right plays a drum. A man on the left in a rust wrap has his back to the camera and white arm markings.2013-05-24June 30 20132013-06-30August 15 20132013-08-15July 02 20132013-07-02May 25 20132013-05-25Outdoor procession on a concrete path beside a red metal fence and a water tank, with green trees behind. A bare-chested man in the centre wears a gold-and-brown lower garment, a gold pendant on a beaded necklace, layered rudraksha malas, and bangles; he walks forward with a broad smile. Around him, several young people in saffron and orange robes and matching sashes accompany him: one blows a conch, others hold hands in anjali, and a shell and horns are raised by two of them. A drummer in a maroon outfit carries a barrel drum on the right. Sacred thread and vibhuti marks are visible on several participants. The scene reads as a ritual procession with conch blowing and drumming. The man's appearance, with his bare chest, gold pendant, and multiple malas, is a plausible candidate for a person leading the procession, though the photo is not conclusive.2013-07-17A procession walks barefoot along a mat laid on a concrete path beside a red brick wall and a tree. In the centre, a man in an orange-brown garment with gold-bordered drapes wears a long orange-gold garland and a large gold pendant, and carries a long golden staff topped with a gold finial. Bare-chested with a rudraksha mala and wrist bands, he has long swept-back dark hair and a red forehead mark; by appearance this is a Swamiji (probable) figure, presented as in_person. Behind him, a shaved-headed man in orange with a rudraksha mala and white forehead marks plays a small hand drum, and a boy in orange also wears a rudraksha mala. Young girls and boys in maroon tunics with gold trim and white forehead marks follow, one girl clasping her hands.2013-06-27June 06 20132013-06-06
