Outdoor photo beneath a massive old banyan tree with many thick hanging aerial roots and sprawling branches. A crowd of roughly two dozen devotees stands and walks on bare dusty ground. Many wear white dhotis and white saris, while women in red, green and patterned saris are also present. At the right edge, a dark stone or metal deity murti draped in orange cloth sits on a red stone base beside a tall pillar. A man in a white shirt and white dhoti stands near the murti, and a boy in a light shirt stands in the middle distance. Nobody in the scene is clearly identifiable as a person; the seated figure is a murti wrapped in orange cloth.2007-05-04December 25 20062006-12-25January 20 20082008-01-20December 18 20132013-12-18Outdoor photograph beneath a large banyan tree with many hanging aerial roots and spreading branches. Beside it stands a dark stone statue draped in orange cloth, with an orange garland, next to a tall white pillar. Several people in white dhotis and white shirts stand or walk around the shrine, and an older woman in a white sari with orange border stands at left near a stone platform, possibly performing worship. A man in grey trousers and white shirt with a pendant walks in the foreground. The scene appears to be a shrine worship area; no clearly identifiable in-person candidate for the a person is visible.2010-07-11A photograph of an outdoor ritual beneath a large banyan tree with hanging aerial roots. Around him, several men in white dhotis and orange shawls carry offering trays and a white vessel. On the right, a dark stone deity murti with a white cloth draped over it and a yellow and red flower garland stands on a plinth scattered with red petals. A photographer stands near the murti, and a red-earth path runs through the scene.2006-12-29February 27 20162016-02-27 +1 copiesDecember 20 20072007-12-20January 20 20082008-01-20January 01 20172017-01-01February 23 20082008-02-23
