November 14 20112011-11-14A smiling man stands on a stage in front of a dark red velvet curtain, arms raised overhead with palms open. He wears a maroon turban with a silver ornament and a red tilak, a white dhoti-style garment with red and gold borders, a gold and beaded necklace, and gold bangles. A purple bird logo appears in the upper left corner. The setting suggests a devotional performance or public event.2011-12-31November 07 20112011-11-07November 13 20112011-11-13A smiling man stands on a stage in front of a dark curtain, wearing a white dhoti and white shawl with a red and gold border. He has a red bindi, long swept-back hair, and wears a long white jasmine garland with red rose accents. He also wears multiple rudraksha malas, a rudraksha pendant, and rudraksha bracelets with silver spacers on his upper arm and wrist. A purple logo with a white bird appears at the upper left. Appearance-based candidate: a person, shown as a standing speaker receiving a garland on stage.2011-11-07A smiling man in a white dhoti-style garment with a red-and-gold border stands in profile against a dark backdrop with a blurred golden deity image behind him. He wears multi-strand rudraksha malas with silver spacers across his chest and on his upper arm, has a red tilak on his forehead, and a small earpiece microphone is visible at his ear. The Swamiji (probable) identification rests on his presentation cues: swept-back hair, ornate red-and-gold cloth, and rudraksha malas with ceremonial silver accents.2011-11-07A man with long dark hair stands on a stage in front of a black curtain decorated with white wavy streamers, raising both hands palms-forward in a greeting gesture while smiling. He wears a flowing white robe draped over one shoulder, with a red bindi on his forehead, multiple strands of rudraksha beads and a gold ceremonial necklace, a red-and-brown rudraksha bracelet on the upper arm, and gold-and-beaded bangles on the wrist. A golden ornament hangs at the right edge of the frame. A purple logo appears in the lower left corner. Swamiji (probable): the figure has long swept-back hair, a red bindi, rudraksha malas and ceremonial gold jewellery, speaking from a stage as a discourse presenter.2011-02-12A smiling man in orange ceremonial dress stands with both arms raised high in an expressive gesture on a stage. He wears an orange turban with gold border and a blue rosette, a red bindi, a shawl of saffron orange draped over his shoulders and chest, a gold-bordered white dhoti, and a heavy necklace of golden bead segments. Red beaded bracelets are on his wrists and upper arms. A lit brass oil lamp with a rooster-shaped finial stands blurred at right against a dark curtain, and a purple logo with a white bird appears at upper left.2011-09-15October 16 20112011-10-16A smiling man stands on a stage before a deep maroon velvet curtain, arms raised high with palms open in greeting. He wears an orange-saffron shawl draped over his shoulders and an orange-saffron dhoti with a wide ornate beaded belt. A heavy gold-toned bead necklace and an orange rudraksha-style garland hang on his chest, with gold bangles and beaded bracelets on his wrists. A white tilak and red bindi mark his forehead. A second person's partial arm is visible at the right edge behind the curtain.2013-02-21November 12 20112011-11-12A photograph of a smiling man with long, swept-back dark hair and a red bindi on his forehead, with white vibhuti lines, seated on an ornate cream and wooden chair. He wears a white and cream dhoti-style garment with rudraksha malas around his neck and wrists, and raises both hands with palms facing outward toward a person in the lower left whose head and hands are partly visible. Red and white flowers and a red backdrop appear behind him. A probable Swamiji candidate is presented here, based on the long swept-back hair, rudraksha malas and ceremonial presentation. The seated man is the main subject; the only other physical person is the partially visible figure in the lower left corner.2012-03-31
