November 14 20112011-11-14A smiling man stands on a stage in front of a dark red velvet curtain, arms raised overhead with palms open. He wears a maroon turban with a silver ornament and a red tilak, a white dhoti-style garment with red and gold borders, a gold and beaded necklace, and gold bangles. A purple bird logo appears in the upper left corner. The setting suggests a devotional performance or public event.2011-12-31November 07 20112011-11-07A smiling man stands barefoot on a red and patterned mat against a dark maroon velvet curtain, arms raised overhead with palms open. He wears a red pleated turban with a silver brooch and a red-and-gold bindi, a white draped garment bordered in red and gold, multiple gold-and-beaded bangles, and a long layered mala of beads with a gold pendant. A pale wall with a small purple and white logo is at left. The posture resembles a welcoming gesture during a programme.2011-12-31November 12 20112011-11-12October 19 20112011-10-19A man in white ritual clothing stands in a doorway with orange-red walls and a metal grille behind him. He wears a white unstitched wrap draped over one shoulder with a thin orange border, and a long necklace of brown rudraksha beads. His forehead bears white ash markings with a red dot, and his hair is swept back. Green plants and a green mat are visible at left, with a red mat on the floor below. He is walking and looking off to the side. The lone visible person is an appearance-based candidate for a person with several cues: rudraksha mala and sacred ash, but the face and presentation are not distinctive enough to confirm identity, so it is marked as uncertain.2011-10-14January 15 20132013-01-15 +1 copiesPhotoAlbumA standing man in orange ceremonial dress raises both arms overhead with palms open, smiling. He wears an orange turban with a small blue ornament, an orange shawl draped over his shoulders, a white and gold-bordered cloth at the waist, and a long gold bead necklace, with gold bangles on his wrists and upper arms. A red mark is on his forehead. He stands barefoot on a patterned rug on a bright stage; behind him a brass oil lamp with a lit flame and a dark curtain are visible. Swamiji (probable) is described by the orange turban, shawl and gold bead necklace; the page identifies this event as a satsang.2011-09-15A man stands barefoot on a patterned woven mat in front of a deep maroon velvet curtain, arms raised overhead with palms open and a broad smile. He wears an orange turban with a small red-and-white jewelled ornament, an orange dhoti-style wrap and shawl edged with gold border, a long rudraksha mala around the neck, and matching rudraksha bands on wrists and upper arms. Long dark hair falls past his shoulders. A cream wall and a potted plant sit at the left edge of the stage, and a purple logo with a bird appears at the upper left. An appearance-based Swamiji (probable) candidate is present, identified by long swept hair, saffron-orange ornate clothing, rudraksha malas and crown-like turban; the setting suggests a stage performance or greeting.2011-12-22February 02 20132013-02-02 +2 copies
