Night photograph of a large outdoor gathering of seated men at a festival, most in white dhotis and white or pastel shirts, some with sandal or vibhuti marks on their foreheads and rudraksha-style necklaces. Rows of plastic chairs and paved hex tiles stretch across the foreground under bright floodlights and a line of young palms. Some men sit cross-legged on the ground, others watch attentively toward a stage out of frame. A tent and temporary structures appear at left. No identifiable a person is clearly visible in this crowd.

Night outdoor gathering on a paved plaza with palm trees and string lights in the background. In the foreground, a row of men and women sit closely together on the pavement, several in white shirts and white dhotis, one woman in a pink sari and another in a pink top. An older man in front has a red-and-white tilak smeared on his forehead. Behind them, a standing crowd of men in checked and striped shirts, one in an orange dhoti, watches attentively. A woman in the right foreground wraps herself in a white shawl. The scene suggests a large evening congregation at a Karthikai Deepam event, though no specific ritual is clearly visible.

A large night gathering of seated devotees sits on a sandy open ground in front of a low building with displayed panels and banners. Most people wear white, with women in saris of red, teal and blue and a few in orange. Floodlights and small lights illuminate the scene from the right, and the audience faces toward the left, toward an unseen stage or ritual area.

Night gathering of a large crowd on an open ground at an outdoor event. Many men wear white shirts and white dhotis, and several women in white saris stand among them. Strings of small red-orange lights are strung across the background, with tall white pillar lights and a bright round lamp among the trees. Rows of chairs are visible at the right beyond the crowd, and a banner edge appears at the top right. Many people stand closely packed in the foreground and middle, and the event appears to be a public programme.

Night-time outdoor gathering of a large crowd seated on the ground in front of a temple gateway lit by street lamps. Many women in colourful saris (yellow, pink, red, blue, green) sit in rows, with men and women in white dress standing behind them. A white van is parked near an ornate gopuram-style gate, and a few people stand at the left edge. The scene suggests a procession or public religious gathering.

Night outdoor gathering of men seated on plastic chairs and paving stones, watching an event ahead under bright floodlights with palm trees along the back. Most wear white shirts and white dhotis; some wear checked or striped shirts. One man at left has a rudraksha-style bead mala, another at right has a yellow tilak mark on his forehead. Crowd extends into the background, with more people standing near lights.
