A photograph of workers unloading large cylindrical wooden logs from a red truck with a blue tarpaulin cover, at a construction or preparation yard beside a concrete block wall. A man in a white turban and orange-and-black striped shirt lifts a log while another man stands in the truck bed. Two men in blue shirts and a boy in white stand by the tailgate, one holding a bundle of bamboo poles. Blue tarpaulin hangs on the left and bamboo poles lean on the right. No recognizable ritual or ceremonial activity is shown.2016-11-24Two men carry long pale cylindrical stone or concrete pillars out of a truck through an open doorway. The front man in a light blue button shirt lifts a pillar on his shoulder, while the man behind him in a white shirt and blue shorts steadies the other end. A third man in a white garment and head wrap sits inside the covered truck bed under a blue tarpaulin. A blue tarp hangs on the left wall beside a red brick wall, and the construction setting suggests materials being unloaded for building work.2016-11-24 +1 copiesA photograph of a construction site in a sunny, dusty open area with scattered trees and a low hedge. Several people stand at the threshold and in the yard: a man in a striped shirt and a white-haired man in a cream kurta with a shoulder bag face the doorway, while a man in a white head cloth and checked lungi and another in a pale shirt and white turban stand beside a vehicle. In the foreground on the right, a person in a rust-orange robe stands near a large deity murti and a bull figure, and more orange and rust-coloured cloth is draped in the left foreground. Wooden planks and a bundled decorated frame are being handled in the yard, with fabric and garlands visible.2009-09-22September 16 20132013-09-16A photograph of workers riding on the flatbed of a rust-brown truck loaded with long steel pipes. Five men sit or lean along the side rails: one in a maroon shirt on the left, one in a checked orange shirt, one in a maroon top and white cloth, one in a light blue shirt, and one in a yellow shirt with a patterned headcloth on the right. Behind them stands a bamboo scaffolding tower against a clear blue sky with a palm tree at right. The dancing Shiva figure stands within a circular halo arch, its arms raised and tied with rope, and several men in white shirts, a checked lungi and a striped shirt grip the ring and the figure. A young man at the top wears an orange scarf over a white shirt. The truck has a grey tarpaulin and blue side panels with a rope hanging from its side. The ground is reddish earth with dry grass.December 17 20092009-12-17A photograph taken from behind a white pickup truck with a blue-edged open cargo bed, parked on a dirt track among green shrubs and trees. Inside the truck, men are loading and handling large gilded items, including a golden curved ornamental piece, while a striped red-and-white mattress or cloth lies on the tailgate. A man in a plaid shirt and cap stands at the rear holding the tailgate, and a man in a white shirt and dark lungi leans into the bed. Another figure sits inside the cargo area. Rope secures the load, and an open field with distant structures lies beyond.A photograph of two men unloading grey stone architectural pieces from a wooden flatbed truck. The man in front wears a white shirt and blue shorts, and the man bending forward wears a white shirt, green checked lungi and a light blue head wrap.
