The bearers wear saffron/orange cloths, and one wears a white shirt. A corrugated metal roof and wooden beams overhead suggest a temporary outdoor or semi-open hall. The carrying poles are visible beneath the platform, and the lower portion of the vehicle is supported on bare shoulders.2013-07-13August 18 20162016-08-18July 02 20142014-07-02 +1 copiesA photograph of several men in saffron-orange robes handling a large rough stone on the flatbed of an old rusty truck in front of a red brick building with window grilles and wall-mounted air conditioners. The man in front has a long dark braid and a crossed-cord waist sash, and wears bead necklaces and bangles, pulling a rope tied around the stone. Beside him a younger man with a shaved head and white forehead markings wears a rudraksha mala and holds the rope. Another man in orange stands behind on the truck, and a man in a rust-coloured kurta stands at the right edge. On the left, a man in white dhoti and orange-trimmed shawl with a white-clad figure stands near the truck, and a palm-lined sky appears at the upper right.2016-08-18 +1 copiesA relief-work scene beside an orange-sided truck bed under tall coconut palms. A shaved-headed man in a white dhoti and shawl stands at left, wearing a rudraksha mala, and faces away from the camera. Beside him a man in a blue-and-white checked shirt wears a name badge. A man in a white cloth wrap around his head and a rudraksha mala stands with his back turned. On the right a man in a white shirt wears a green surgical cap. Another worker in a green cap leans over the truck's side. Blue tarpaulin and a black drum are visible in the truck bed. The setting is an outdoor disaster-relief distribution site.2012-01-07January 06 20122012-01-06
