A homa is performed in a hall before a rectangular brick fire pit with a bright flame and burning wood sticks. A priest in saffron-orange robes with a rudraksha mala and vibhuti marks on his forehead tends the fire and offers from a brass plate of wooden sticks, with a small book open beside him. Brass bowls of offerings, marigold garlands and yellow-orange flowers sit around the pit. Behind, a row of seated devotees in white dhotis and kurtas, some in orange or red shawls, sit on mats, with a young boy in a camouflage shirt among them. Some people are standing near the back wall, and a gold ceremonial throne-like seat stands in the background, with a microphone at the right edge.

A photograph of an outdoor homa fire ceremony at night. A square stone fire pit with bright flames sits in the foreground. Around it, a group of devotees in white clothes with orange and red sashes and orange beaded malas sit cross-legged on mats. A priest in orange-brown robes with a rudraksha mala and a white tripundra on his forehead sits at right beside brass vessels, bowls of offerings and a tray of grains. Several participants sit with palms joined in prayer. Potted plants and a red pillar appear in the background. Visible people number roughly a dozen or more.

A homa fire ritual in a hall with a rectangular brick-edged fire pit burning logs with flames and smoke in the foreground. A man in orange robes with a white forehead mark and a gold-beaded mala, seated at the right, extends his arm to feed the fire with a stick while small bowls of offerings and a open book sit beside him. Rows of seated devotees in white dhotis and kurtas, some in red shawls, face the fire on mats including a purple mat and red-striped runner. A small boy in a camouflage shirt sits near the fire. A golden throne-like seat stands at the back of the hall. The scene reads as an ashram satsang with fire offerings; the man in orange is a priest officiating the homa, and his identity is not established from appearance.

A homa fire ritual in progress on an orange cloth. In the foreground a shaved-headed priest in orange robes with a white tilak and beaded necklaces sits cross-legged, pouring liquid from a small vessel into a bowl over the fire. A rectangular metal fire tray holds stacked wood, and brass bowls with offerings such as grains, ghee and banana leaves surround him. Behind him, a seated group of about twenty devotees in orange shawls and white clothes press their palms together in prayer, some with eyes closed. Woven mats cover the floor and a red-draped table with stacked cloth is at the upper left.

A photograph of a homa at a yellow-brick fire pit, with a bright flame rising from the burning wood. A man in a saffron-orange robe and matching orange head wrap, seated at left, holds a ladle over the fire and speaks into a microphone on a stand. Beside him, seated devotees in white ritual clothes press their palms together or hold incense sticks, and a brass vessel of ghee and small oil lamps sit near the pit. Behind them, a large brass lamp stand and a dark-framed metal artwork hang on the wall, with rows of seated devotees in white and a woman in yellow sari at right. Ritual performed with a fire pit and offerings, consistent with a homa. Appearance-based cues: saffron robe and orange head wrap, but not enough for a confident identity; the figure is labelled only as the officiating priest leading the homa.

Outdoor homa at a square fire pit filled with burning sticks and smoke rising. A man in orange robes with a gold-embroidered shawl and heavy beaded necklaces sits on a leopard-print cushion at the right, reading from an open book. Around the fire, many people in orange and saffron robes sit on the ground, some with rudraksha malas and forehead markings. Brass pots, bowls and a kalasha sit along the fire pit edge, with a tray of silver implements in the foreground. Women in orange saris and a man in red-orange robes tend the offerings, and a standing crowd in white clothes watches from the background. Green plants in pots line the setting.

Indoor homa ceremony in a room with white walls and a brick-lined fire pit at the centre, with flames and smoke rising from offerings. A shaved-headed priest in saffron-orange robes and beaded necklaces sits at right behind a small microphone stand, beside brass bowls and oil lamps. Seated devotees fill the room: several in white with red shawls pressing their palms together, a woman in red sari covering her face with her hands, and a man in orange at lower left with hands folded. Flower petals lie on a blue mat. Appearance is not sufficient to confirm the priest's identity, so he is described by role only.

Night photograph of a vivaha homa at an outdoor sandy ceremony area. In the foreground a young priest in orange robes with a tilak on his forehead sits behind a small fire pit with a flame, brass vessels, flower garlands and a microphone. Beside him a man in cream kurta sits on a cloth, placing a flower garland on a woman in a red and gold saree, while another woman in purple sits nearby. Behind them seated devotees wear white, orange and red clothing, and a boy in a red striped shirt sits in front of the crowd.
