Night-time outdoor ritual at dusk among palm trees. In the foreground a man with long dark hair, wearing an orange-saffron cloth with gold border and a gold-beaded necklace, stands with palms pressed together in namaste. Beside him are several men in orange robes with rudraksha-style garlands, also with hands folded. On the right a man in white dhoti and shawl with a red border holds a lit aarti lamp with flame and is accompanied by people in white. A brass plate with flowers lies at lower left. Behind, devotees in white and red clothing stand and one person holds up a camera. The scene suggests a deepam lamp ceremony.

Night-time photo of a courtyard at a temple-style ashram. In the foreground a man in saffron-orange dhoti and shawl with red borders, bare-chested and wearing sandals, lights a row of small firecrackers or sparklers placed on a stone step with a stick torch. Several men in white dhotis and shawls with gold borders stand on a raised veranda, one holding a cloth, and a boy in a red shirt watches beside a wooden railing. Other figures in white walk in the dim background, and potted plants and stones border the walkway.

A photograph of a group of young people seated on the floor at an evening ritual setting, lit by small green and purple fairy lights on stone pillars with a yellow-and-white base. Six people are visible: several wear saffron-orange garments with gold borders and rudraksha malas, sacred white ash marks on their foreheads, and one young man on the right wears white clothing with a gold border and rudraksha beads. Their attention is directed off to the side. A small oil lamp stands at the left edge beside a stone pedestal.

Night-time photograph of a crowd of devotees gathered behind metal barrier posts at an outdoor event. On the left, figures in saffron-orange dhoti and sari-style garments with rudraksha malas and sandalwood tilak stand near several young children in orange clothing. In the centre, a woman in an orange and gold sari with a gold-trimmed blouse and a small bag stands with her hands at her chest. Behind them, men in white kurtas and dhotis wear red-and-brown shawls, and one man in a white kurta and dark trousers with glasses stands with his arms folded. Orange flags hang in the background, and some people sit on mats near the floor.

Night procession on a dirt path lit by a distant lamp. Five men walk in a line: a shaved-headed man in white dhoti and shirt with a rudraksha-style pendant at left; a central man in orange-saffron robes with gold-bordered shawl walking with hands folded; a man in orange robes with gold border behind him holding hands together; a man in white dhoti and shawl with gold border; and a shaved-headed man in orange robes carrying a tray with a small silver vessel, green leaves and white flowers. A man in a white shirt at right holds a lit lamp and a flower garland. Appearance-based identity of the central figure is uncertain, so he is described only by role as a devotee walking in the procession.

Night photograph lit mostly in red and orange light showing a group of devotees holding lit sparklers that throw bright sparks and smoke at right. A young man in front wears a saffron-yellow kurta and rudraksha mala and holds a sparkler forward. A younger boy beside him in gold-trimmed yellow dhoti and mala also holds one. A woman in white sari with a mala and red bindi stands centre, and two more people in yellow and orange clothing stand at right with sparklers. Several other people are visible in the background darkness.

A procession line of young boys in saffron and orange sannyasi-style cloths stands on a dirt ground beneath a corrugated shelter and trees. Many boys have white sacred ash or tilak marks on their foreheads and bodies, and some wear rudraksha malas. On the left, a man in a white dhoti with gold borders holds a long staff topped with a ceremonial finial and bracelets, and he is looking at a phone. Behind the line, a flag with ornate embroidery is raised on a pole, and a videographer's camera is visible. A boy at right holds small cymbals or hand bells. The scene appears to be a ritual procession with a pada puja or satsang gathering.
