Photograph of two men in a bare concrete-block room at night. On the left, a smiling man with long swept-back dark hair, a red bindi and white forehead marks wears an orange-brown shawl, a long garland of red flowers with gold-trimmed ornaments, and an ornate gold-and-red belt; he reaches toward a white stone object. On the right, a shaven-headed man in an orange-brown dhoti-style robe wears a rudraksha mala and a brown beaded necklace and holds a white stone deity object on a white plate. Two white stone feet or padukas rest on the plate. A partly visible man in white and a woman in yellow stand in the background.

Outdoor ritual under a corrugated metal roof beside a tall copper flagstaff. A standing man on the right wears a red-orange dhoti with a gold border, a long multicoloured flower garland of pink, white, yellow and red blossoms, gold ornaments, and bare chest, with eyes closed and hands at his sides. Two priests in red-orange dhotis with gold borders stand to the left; the nearer one, bare-headed and shaved, holds a silver plate with flowers and a cloth, and another priest with a white-marked arm and rudraksha bands stands behind him. Trees and sky are visible beyond the roof edge.

A photograph of a ceremonial moment at an indoor shrine with a grey cinder-block wall behind. A man in a rust-red robe with a red-and-gold belt and a long double garland of red flowers and gold-tipped petals reaches toward a dark stone object with a white, cracked-open top, held by a priest on the left. The priest wears an orange-brown shawl, a rudraksha mala, a red forehead mark, and a gold bangle. Silver deity murti and figurines sit on the altar in the foreground. A man in a white shirt with a red forehead mark stands at the right with hands folded. The person in the robe wears a headset microphone and has a white tilak and hair in a bun.

A photograph of a temple-style ritual under an open metal-roofed pavilion. A long-haired man on the right wears a red-orange dhoti and shawl with gold borders, a multi-coloured pink, yellow and green flower garland and a gold-beaded necklace, and extends his hand toward a steel tray of white flowers. Beside him, a bald priest in matching orange-red robes holds a tray with an orange shawl, and another shaved-headed attendant in red-orange cloth stands at left, holding a plate of white petals. A copper-coloured pillar with floral garland hangs behind them. Three people are visible, including one partially visible at the lower left, with a copper-coloured pillar and floral garlands behind them.

A photograph of a ceremony on a dais. A bald man in orange and saffron robes with a rudraksha mala and white forehead markings stands at left, extending his cupped hands toward a seated man. The seated man wears saffron robes, a long rudraksha mala and gold necklace, gold earrings and white tripundra markings, and sits on a red velvet throne with gold carved armrests. A silver bowl of white flower-like offerings sits on the floor in front, with other robed attendants in white and saffron behind. Gold drapery and a red-and-gold decorated backdrop frame the scene.

Photograph of two men in a marble-walled temple interior. On the left, a shaved-headed priest in white dhoti and shawl with gold border and a rudraksha mala holds a silver tray of pink flowers and green leaves. On the right, a man with long swept-back hair wears an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl with gold trim, a long rudraksha mala, a tilak on his forehead and gold earrings, and looks downward. Behind them is a marble doorway and a stone-clad wall.
