The head wears an orange and maroon turban with a red bindi, and the statue wears a teal and gold-bordered silk garment. Raised hands hold ritual objects, and a green gold-patterned cloth forms the backdrop. No physical people are visible; the figure is a sculpted statue, so a person is none.2013-09-30June 02 20132013-06-02June 20 20132013-06-20April 18 20132013-04-18August 12 20132013-08-12June 02 20132013-06-02A dark stone murti of a deity stands centrally, wearing a yellow turban with a red bindi and a yellow shawl over the body. It wears a yellow dhoti-style garment, layered rudraksha malas, white beaded necklaces and bangles. Its upper hands hold a trident-like staff and a damaru-like object, while the lower hands show mudras; orange-yellow flowers rest in two hands. A red tilak marks the forehead. This is a deity murti rather than a living person.2013-06-20September 26 20132013-09-26A dark stone deity murti stands in a silver-framed arched niche against a bright pink backdrop, with leafy trees behind. The figure wears an orange and gold turban, a red tilak on the forehead, and a green garment. Its many ornaments include layered gold and jewelled necklaces, rudraksha malas and beaded strands, with white jasmine garlands and red roses draped at the shoulders. Gold-foil wrapped stems and red flowers decorate the arms. The hands hold ceremonial objects. The image appears to be a festival decoration of the murti during a puja.2014-08-14
