A seated group ritual in a hall with a polished floor and woven mats. In the foreground, a young priest in a white dhoti with gold border and white forehead and arm markings sits with palms pressed together in prayer, eyes closed. Beside him, a man in a white dhoti with gold border and a rudraksha mala holds his hands together in namaskar. Brass lamps, small kumkum and flower-laden plates, and a turquoise container sit on the mat in front. Behind them, around two dozen boys and men sit cross-legged in rows, many in white, orange, red and striped shirts, several with white forehead markings.

A seated group of many devotees in a hall performs a puja with hands pressed together in namaskar and eyes closed. Most men wear white dhoti-style cloth with gold or yellow borders and some have bare upper torsos with sacred ash marks on their foreheads and arms; a few wear rudraksha or bead necklaces. Brass oil lamps, small brass pots, orange cloth and plates of offerings sit on mats in front of them, and youths in shirts and plain clothes sit among the group. No single figure is clearly identifiable as a person from appearance.

A seated group puja in a bright hall with pale marble floor. In the foreground a shaved-headed man in white dhoti with saffron-striped shawl and rudraksha mala sits before brass plates of fruit, sweets and red flowers. Beside him a man in white dhoti with a red-striped shawl and a mala holds his hands in anjali, and a bare-chested man with white tilak marks on his arms folds his palms in prayer. Behind them rows of boys in shirts of red, yellow, orange and blue sit before brass lamps, small bowls and offerings. Other devotees and a woman in a red sari sit further back among red cushions.

A seated man in white ritual clothes with gold-bordered dhoti and shawl sits cross-legged with eyes closed and hands folded in his lap, wearing a long rudraksha mala and a red tilak on his forehead. Behind him a group of boys and young men sit on mats, some with eyes closed, and a child in an orange t-shirt and brown shorts sits at left looking toward the camera. Brass and steel vessels, a red box, flower petals and plates of offerings lie on the floor in front. Red curtains and bright tube lights are visible in the background. Appearance alone is not enough to name the seated man as a person, so he is described by role as a seated devotee in white ritual dress.

A seated group of men in plain white dhotis and shawls sits on mats during a ritual gathering, with brass and copper vessels, small plates of offerings, and pink and yellow items placed on the floor. In the foreground, a bald man in white with a rudraksha mala and wristwatch rests his chin on his hand while looking upward. A black bag sits at the right edge, and a brass lamp with a handle is at the lower left. Several people sit in rows behind, some in white and others in casual shirts.

A photograph of a seated group at a pada puja in an indoor hall with pale tiled floor. In the foreground a shaved-headed sannyasi in saffron-orange robes and a rudraksha mala sits cross-legged with eyes lowered, beside a man in white dhoti and shirt with a yellow-bordered cloth. Several boys in casual shirts sit with hands folded, and a few men in white ritual dhotis sit behind. Small trays of yellow flowers and fruit sit on the floor, and a rolled cloth lies near the front. No one here shows distinctive a person cues such as long hair or a crown, so no identification is made.

Several men in white dhotis with gold borders sit cross-legged on a polished floor during a puja. In the foreground, a man with folded hands and rudraksha malas sits with eyes closed. Near the centre, a man with white tilak and rudraksha mala holds an object while chanting; brass plates, small cups, flowers and a lit oil lamp rest on a green cloth and orange mats. Behind them, more white-clad devotees and a few onlookers in white and red sit in a yellow-walled hall. No figure here is clearly identifiable as a person from appearance, so the role is described only as priests and devotees.
