Two men in front wear white dhoti-style garments with gold borders and rudraksha malas, one with grey hair and glasses, the other with eyes closed and hands folded. Behind them many boys and young men sit in rows, some in white and others in colourful shirts, all attentive. A small orange bag rests at the lower right. No candidate for a person is clearly identifiable from appearance, so no identity is assigned.2012-04-09Several men in white dhotis with gold borders sit cross-legged on a polished floor during a puja. In the foreground, a man with folded hands and rudraksha malas sits with eyes closed. Near the centre, a man with white tilak and rudraksha mala holds an object while chanting; brass plates, small cups, flowers and a lit oil lamp rest on a green cloth and orange mats. Behind them, more white-clad devotees and a few onlookers in white and red sit in a yellow-walled hall. No figure here is clearly identifiable as a person from appearance, so the role is described only as priests and devotees.2012-05-14 +1 copiesA seated group puja in a bright hall with pale marble floor. In the foreground a shaved-headed man in white dhoti with saffron-striped shawl and rudraksha mala sits before brass plates of fruit, sweets and red flowers. Beside him a man in white dhoti with a red-striped shawl and a mala holds his hands in anjali, and a bare-chested man with white tilak marks on his arms folds his palms in prayer. Behind them rows of boys in shirts of red, yellow, orange and blue sit before brass lamps, small bowls and offerings. Other devotees and a woman in a red sari sit further back among red cushions.2011-07-26A photograph of a large group of devotees seated cross-legged on mats in a hall during a ritual, with brass plates, small oil lamps and metal cups arranged on the floor before them. Most men wear white dhotis with gold-bordered orange shawls and sacred ash markings on their foreheads and arms; the front-row men wear rudraksha malas and gold bangles, and several have shaved or tonsured heads. Younger boys in dark shirts and maroon-and-orange clothing sit among them, and a boy in glasses on the right holds a small notebook. The front-row man with folded hands is closest to the camera, and a printed booklet lies on the floor at lower left. Some devotees have eyes closed in meditation, and there is no visible throne or figure singled out as a person.2013-02-04January 25 20132013-01-25May 07 20122012-05-07April AF 2012 +1 copiesDecember 30 20112011-12-30May 08 20122012-05-08
