At left, a seated figure in a red-and-gold turban and red robe sits on an ornate gold throne draped with yellow-and-red flower garlands, with a tall ceremonial fan behind. In the centre foreground, a standing priest in a saffron-orange dhoti holds a lit camphor or aarti flame aloft in front of a yellow-and-white kalasha-style pitcher while people in red and orange saris sit with hands folded. Brass oil lamps and offering trays with flowers and fruit sit on the floor, and a green backdrop hangs behind. The scene appears to be a puja or aarti ceremony with a throne-seated figure presiding. Ceiling fans and white walls frame the hall.2015-10-21 +1 copiesOctober 19 20152015-10-19July 03 20172017-07-03 +1 copiesA ceremonial hall with a canopied ceiling and white draping hosts a ritual. On a raised golden throne with a red-and-gold canopy, a seated figure in saffron-red robes and a rudraksha mala is at centre, with umbrellas over the seat. Devotees in white dhotis with red shawls sit on mats in the foreground; some have shaved heads and some hold ritual items. Standing attendants in red and orange garments stand at right beside a brass lamp stand. To the left, a decorated deity murti with garlands and a kalasha is set on an ornate platform with flowers, and lit oil lamps sit near the front. The scene reads as satsang or puja, with a seated presider and assembled devotees.2015-10-19July 03 20142014-07-03December 22 20102010-12-22A photograph inside a red-draped hall during a ritual. A figure seated on a gold throne with lion-form armrests, under a gold canopy and a garland-framed backdrop, wears an orange wrap, an orange turban and a rudraksha-style neck garland, with hands joined in greeting. Several priests sit on red and striped mats in the foreground: one in white dhoti with bare chest and yellow shawl holds a flame lamp, another wears a white dhoti with orange-and-gold garlands, and a man on the left wears a yellow shawl. Gold trident-topped staffs and a garlanded altar stand nearby. Only partial heads of a few seated devotees are visible at the bottom edge. A puja with an oil lamp is in progress.2015-10-18A seated figure on an ornate gold-and-red throne wears orange robes and a dark rudraksha mala, with a red cushioned seat and gilded armrest. Around him, devotees sit on an orange and red carpet: a woman in a red blouse with a braid, a bald man in white with a red-bordered cloth, several women in white saris with gold borders and a woman in a yellow shawl. Some hold lit oil lamps and joined palms during a pada puja-style offering, with silver plates and small lamps on the floor. A woman in a red sari stands at the back, and a woman in a blue sari sits at right. A gold-framed deity image is visible at upper left, with a window and black curtain behind.2010-09-16
